  1. Debunked? https://golf.com/gear/golf-balls/golf-ball-test-modern-balata-robot/
  2. The USGA made the shortsighted mistake back in the mid-90's and the guy snoozing at the wheel was Frank Thomas. He was so shortsighted he thought that there was no way Pro's would be caught dead swinging big-headed drivers. Except as soon as the pro's figured out that allowed them to swing out of their shoes with little risk they all switched. Just now Ping and Taylormade have figured out how to break that 10k MOI barrier while keeping spin slow. With Tour players using them they'll be able to lash out even harder at the ball, hit it farther and straighter. Hopefully the USGA/RA are trying to get ahead of that curve.
  3. I do. Usually when I see super low scores it's because the pro's are putting the ball so close to greens and flipping wedges up close, kinda boring. The USGA/RA realized the made a mistake back in 1995, and again in 2004, by not setting the proper boundaries, they are trying to reverse that mistake which is fine by me.
  4. I believe Mark is correct. Before I started making changes to my swing I was in a set of shafts that were meant to allow me to keep making the terrible move. Now that I'm changing my delivery those shafts absolutely do not match or allow me to change the pattern, I would make the correct movement but then fight against the ball-flight and strike, so I'd go back to my old swing so I could at least get the strike and flight...but wait, now the movement was wrong again; it's a never ending pattern. Two options. The person that wants to improve and the fitter needs to help them get into the clubs that will allow them to advance their swing. And option two, the golfer who doesn't want to change and the fitter should give them what works best at that point in time.
  5. It's not just height it's arm length as well. My arm-span is 1.5" longer than my height would dictate so at 5'10" (golf shoes) so am most comfortable using a 32" putter.
  6. Ordered on 1/15 supposed to be delivered 1/31 - Nope. Call shop, they can't get through to Mizuno turns out a ransomware attack brought them to a standstill. Ok, fine s*** happens. Shop finally is able to contact Mizuno on 2/21 and Mizuno says my clubs are set to be in production on 2/29 and I'll have them by 3/1. I call shop on 3/1, turns out Mizuno were out of 223 6i heads (they had everything else) and the shop asked them to just build what they had and send them. Mizuno said OK, they will be at your shop on 3/22. I call shop on 3/23 and they are so busy I call them back on 3/24. No Mizuno said, *nah we were never going to build just a partial set, so we didn't do anything at all*. But we have everything now and will build them on 4/1 so you should have them on 4/15 ... F#<K'n hell Mizuno.
  7. It's killing me that my 223's are caught in that ransomware attack - the irons are supposedly at Mizuno...somewhere.
  8. My hope is that they release a Toe-hang version of the M.Craft VI.
  9. I'm sure it may come back a little as that plastic (polymer) layer is just that, plastic. No way to buff it out. Imagine pushing your fingernail into a ProV1 cover, it will leave a mark, it may subside a little over time but the mark will still be there.
  10. I did a similar thing to one the other day, barely put any pressure on the face, and it left a mark. How this passed for release and meeting rules is perplexing.
  11. If it's not an advantage then why do it?
  12. To all the people that say "anchoring, and armlock doesn't matter or doesn't make putting easier" ... if it doesn't matter then why do it and then why care if it's banned?
  13. I found that the MTB-X fell out of the sky off all my clubs. The Black does better for me.
  14. A review is a review. What you are saying about the review is far more damaging to your product and company.
