  1. Fiancé begs me to go. Probabbly to get a break! haha
  2. If Auburn upsets Alabama, we may not see a SEC team (highly unlikely) make it to the playoffs.
  3. Two new wedges, but I'm at least a week away from being able to swing a club. 😭
  4. Just ordered a 19* and 15* edel long iron, some grafalloy shafts, and a 10.5 SLDR head. Ordered a set of TMAG TP MB's last week, but broke the set up and sold it. No clue why I even bought them. Jeez..... I have a small golf shop...
  5. I think it's absolutely absurd that we as consumers still support guys like John Daly that release a video on Facebook about the vertical driver being the real deal. Paid endorsements border on fraud and I've about had my fill of it. It's not funny. It's not cool. It's a scam and I'm tired of paying $500 for a driver so some 45 year old at the end of his career (Phil Mickelson) can cash a check/pay off gambling debts.
  6. Single length. Not a fan of the cobra f7 one shafts but love the length.

    Evnroll vs Edel

Why'd you go Williamette over Torqu balanced?

    Evnroll vs Edel

I need to go try an evnroll. Reviews have been outstanding
  9. Where was this filmed? It went from epic man cave to impossible man cave to sweet bar in about 30 seconds.
  10. I hit the black in a pxg hybrid and it was crazy long. No clue on the red, but at medium launch/medium spin, it's perfect for a fairway.
  11. Adding a black hzrdous hybrid shaft to my bag. Really wanting to try a red hzrdous in the fairway.
  12. Got a m2 tour issue fairway head and an old Adams tour issue hybrid. So naturally, I had to order a Hzrdous black hybrid shaft.
  13. Been playing them for awhile now. Hands down my favorite ball on the market.
  14. Played 36. 78 in the morning and 77 in the afternoon. Opened the first 6 holes in the afternoon at +6. Pulled a rabbit out of my hat on the last 12 holes.
  15. Got out to play for the first time in several weeks Friday. I've been working on a more Hogan-esque set up (ball stays in same position off the left foot but the right moves from closer and open with the wedge to further back and closed with the right). Results were awesome. My distance was insane and my ball striking was the best it's been in a year. Putting and chipping was rusty but that's to be expected. News of the day was that my friend (a former collegiate women's golfer) drove a 270 yard green and made eagle. Kaboom!
  16. Tot Hill may be my favorite in the area. There's some tough shots and putts on that course.
  17. I'm the guy that plays the tips "to get his money's worth." Dan, Bones, Rick and Theoo can attest to that. I thought the hardest hole at Mirimichi was #9, but #15 is up there.
  18. Browsing through the US Open qualifying courses reminded me of a few tough courses I've played. Two of which are La Purisima G.C. in California and Ram Rock G.C. in Texas. La Purisima: Yeah. There's a reason it is a US Open qualifier. Long 3 pars, narrow fairways, long rough, and a layout that demands shot making. Proof? The 3 par 9th, is 227 yards with water left and O.B. 3 yards off the right side of the green. The catch? Tall California trees force you to aim at the left side of the green (large slope headed to the water) and hit a cut, with how much club you take determining if you are laying up or going for the green. Regardless, a cut is required to stay in play. Ram Rock G.C. Not much needs to be said about this. Other than I shot a 70 on this course (don't ask my average). Notable hole is 16, which I dubbed the "Round Breaker." 417 yards? That's easy. No! A forced cut into a wall of trees and OB with OB straight forces you to play a hybrid or 3 wood off the tee (depending on line, 3 wood is too much) this leaves you with 190 (tee shot is uphill) into a green protected by water on the front and right and a huge tree on the left side and part of the green known for kicking your ball into the trap beneath it. A shot from the bunker leaves you a nasty, slick down hill slope to the water. Good luck! So these are two of mine. What do you have (must include scorecard)?

    Cure putters

Adjustability in a putter does less for me than a driver. Get fit for a putter and practice with it. And practice with it. And practice with it. And practice with it. You don't need to be adding weight and changing angles.
  20. I like my boneless chicken like I like my steak. Aged and medium rare.
