  2. My clubs are a mix of golfworks clubs I’ve built, and used clubs.I think it is insane to buy brand new clubs when 1-4 year old clubs are as good/better. Nothing has beaten out my Sim driver. It’s my second, my first broke. I got the first for $250, the second for $120. Callaway preowned and global golf are my go to places
  3. Golfworks tsw 52 (bent to 53) and 58*. Super versatile. I use the 58* from the sand. I will say it gives me trouble in very fluffy sand as it has a lower bounce, but our courses usually have firmer sand. I have a golfworks max milled 56* (bent to 58*) for when I travel to fluffy sand land
  4. I would love to see you add in the golfworks ke4 max. It gave me the same #s as my sim which gave me better numbers than the stealth2. And it was superior to the G430. I think it is the real deal.
  5. The diamond is not meant for you at 92 ss. It is Brookes Koepka’s ball. You’d be much better off with the regular Zstar. Nothing better to me
  6. It was an afternoon in late February. I hit my drive hard but right on a dogleg right par 5, in to some trees. Lay up I thought. When I got to my ball I saw it sitting up, perfect lie on the dormant turf, with a window to the green, flag 212 yards, wind quartering L-R at 4o’clock. I decided to go for it. I hit my 4 wood slightly left of hole expecting wind to take it right. Flushed. One bounce and I lost sight of the ball. My buddy, in the middle of the fairway, yelled it went in. I said no, it went over. But indeed there it was, in the hole for an albatross.
  7. My course is very hilly (more elevation changes than AN). I still walk 95%. In sept-may I carry, summer I’ll use a push cart. I will ride when it gets ridiculously hot, like it is now if I’ve worked out early and have a later tee time. I find I concentrate much better when walking.
  8. I used a long putter years ago. Unlike what most say I had no issue with longer putts. I could really control distance with how far back I took it. But I struggled with shorter putts and I found the technique very temperamental. Anything off, esp ball position, was a sure way to hit a bad putt. btw, I have a new tour issue ski pole shaft I found in my old shafts if anyone wants to build one
  9. I was able to demo the new KE4 Max driver. Here is the link for details https://www.golfworks.com/maltby-ke4-tc-max-adjustable-driver/p/ma0343/ I wasn’t able to get on our trackman, so this review is based on a range session where I compared it to my 9* Sim with a diamana D+ re flex. The KE4 Max was 10*, shafted with a Maltby Ultralight at 46.25”, 1/2” more than the Sim The KE4 Max looks much better than the pictures on the web. Very nice looking head. Sets up beautifully. Looks square to me. It has a slightly louder sound than the Sim, and while the sim feels more solid, the Max feels fine. It launched as expected for the loft and shaft combo, mid. It was pretty forgiving, with toe hits not losing too much distance. Distance was slightly greater than the Sim, which I attribute to the lighter and longer shaft. Bottom line - the KE4 Max is every bit as good as any OEM (I have put the sim up vs the G435 and Stealth and Paradym and have found the Sim as long and forgiving as any of them). It is pretty expensive for a component, as it will be $230-$300 with a good shaft. But when it is a bargain when you compare it to a $600 new OEM. I’m staying with my Sim because I own it and am comfortable with it, but if that changes I’ll move on to the KE4 Max. Happy to answer any questions

    .... goodbye
  11. I have a callaway Xr 3 wood, stock Project X 5.5 shaft. Good shape, some face wear $50 can send pics if interested
  12. If I am playing half decently I will use my 3 wood once, on the second shot on a long uphill par 5. If I am playing poorly I might need it a few more times, which is always 'fun'
  13. Sam! Long time. How are you? Enjoying the warm weather? I’m sure you miss the snow (ha). Hope you and your son are well
  14. I have hit it v the Sim2 and Stealth and the OG sim was every bit as good.better than anything else
  15. Driver is safe - OG SIM 5 wood is super safe - stealth. Incredible find late last year irons and wedges are safe - Golfworks TS2 5-GW, nippons 850GH, ke4Max 52/58 - there is nothing better out there IMO Putter is dead safe (knock on wood) - old cs golfworks PT. It’s been a revelation since returning from a 5 year absence (and 2 other owners) 3 wood is always on borrowed time - sim max right now, used for 1 shot at my home course. Might not be worth keeping i am adding either a 4 iron or a 7 wood or 20-21* hybrid to fill the gap. Right now the TS2 4 iron is getting it’s shot
  16. Golfworks.com ke4S irons would be perfect. Super forgiving and not as expensive but top quality
  17. Love Cleveland putters. But several scientific studies have shown face milling/pattern does nothing to effect performance, only feel

  19. My buddy, former state AM champ, D1 golfer, mini tour player, D1 coach, now senior exec at an OEM, used to play with a 28” 54* wedge. It was his young son’s, one day he fooled around with it pitching one handed, and found he was lights out. So he played it. Added benefit was it really messed with his opponents in money games
  20. Still looking? I think I have one
  21. A few thoughts- golfworks has several very high quality putter heads 370+ Gms. https://www.golfworks.com/heads/c/10001/filter/100000000159eq100000000315/ If you add a hosel adapter it’ll get you over 400, and still be face balanced. Use a longer straight shaft and a CB super stroke and it’ll fit your needs. They’ll build it for you they also have blades near 400. I have one (ptm4) with a cb grip I’m looking to sell cheap if interested
  22. ASICS hands down. They really feel like running shoes but with firmer soles, great support
  23. I hope your hospital administrators are members of this forum. And i hope you didn’t bump a patient to do this. Or is it your own CT scan?
