Lots of members in the PDX area. We need to have an outing this year sometime. I wonder if @DPattGolf is still at Orchard Hills CC. I'm headed to his old stomping grounds at Eagle Crest in Redmond, OR this Sunday.

Wow is it nice to login and not see a million spam threads. Maybe I just jinxed it, but thank you to the mod team over the last 48 hours in working their tails off to clean it up and work on some other filters to prevent it moving forward!

Watched a UTUBE video on club fitting and I thought I would pass along my experiences. I purchased an expensive adjustable driver from Callaway sales center in Las Vegas and was unable to hit it properly. I stopped by Callaway again and they offered a fitting for $50.00 so I paid the money and the fitting rep had me hit a few balls on their machine and then said the driver needs no adjustment but kept my $50.00. I still am unable to hit the club so it sits in the garage.
I was talking to the club pro in Las Vegas and asked for a putting lesson so he charged me $25.00 and we went to the putting green. He had me putt a few times and said I was putting just fine and kept my money.
Just two of my expensive wastes of money on so called fitting experiences. I am curious how many other people have found that fitting is a waste of time and money.

Really looking forward to hitting Gearhart Golf Links near Seaside, OR again in a few weeks. Had so much fun the first time there 2 years ago and can't wait to test myself from the Stones again!

If it goes right it's a slice....if it goes left it's a hook....if it goes straight it's a freakin' miracle!
