  1. There's also some that come with a laser pointer built into the stand so you can line it up exactly when indoors.
  2. What do you mean download the HDMI accessory? I just hook the adapter up to mine and it goes straight to the 4K TV no problem. HOWEVER, I am having difficulty sending the signal to my projector, so I'd like to know more about what you are referring to in case I need that.
  3. Wondering if any of you testers, or anyone reading the thread, have noticed that if you go hit ball after ball quality seems to get worse and worse, but if you wait a minute or so between shots (maybe less, but you get the point), the quality stays up there? It's so easy to start just hitting a ton of balls quickly on the sim (or even the range outdoors). Anyhoo, my golf buddy said he read that the pros purposely take extra time because it happens to some degree to everyone.
  4. "Great Scott!" to quote Doc from Back to the Future. You must dig a hole to the other side of the planet with a -12* AoA!!!
  5. Do you guys have the fully unlocked and loaded Mevo+ now, or is that "phase III"? Fun following along with all this - I've sent a ton of people here that ask about the Mevo+ for home sims on various Facebook pages I follow. I would imagine there's a few new MGS members reading all 28 pages!
  6. This one is floating in the air instead of on the hitting mat but the area looks like this. I would imagine that is what the Mevo+ one looks like. I'm curious how big it is, or how you tell where it is. I used to like to put 4 pegs in the mat at the TM place I worked so I could know exactly what part of the hitting area I was in. You guys were adjusting your Mevo+ and getting different information back...
  7. Is the hitting zone a trapezoid like on Trackman with it becoming narrower as you move back? Seems like as long as it's within that area, the numbers should be OK or the official hitting zone should be smaller.
  8. Ah ha! I found it. Spornia has a screen ranging from $39 to $59 depending on the size. Probably worth a try for that price! Especially if you have one of the nets. https://spornia.com/products/white-simulator-golf-net-target-64-x-64?variant=39853370146921
  9. I can't remember what you are hitting into, but if you like the net return, you can add a true screen for under $200. I guess they sell them for another brand but I just can't seem to remember what brand it was. Just was chatting with someone about it too. https://www.thenetreturn.com/products/nr-pro-series-flex-simulator-screen
  10. I think loose would be much better. A lot of people leave the bottom of their screen loose... Nets are supposed to be hard on balls as well. If you get a proper hitting screen, the ball will last many, many, many shots unless you are hitting wedges and that'll skin them pretty quickly. I usually use a "wedge ball" for obvious reasons and a "new" ball for woods and 9+ irons. I forget enough times to switch out the new ball that over time it turns into the new wedge ball and I put a new new ball into play. Also, not sure how cold it is where you are but if you keep a few in your pocket or a mitten with a hand warmer, they will last much longer without cracking in the cold. Working at a SIM place before, certain brands also seem to crack much quicker than others. I only swing at about 110 max on good swings with driver and the ProV1 RCT balls last me forever - just the covers become damaged over time. Just my thoughts.
  11. Typically 4200 to 4800 - . Too low though. I have a bunch of things I plan to try both swing and sim setup wise. Could be the 15-20* weather makes the mat not "stick" to the ball like it would if it were 70*. Yes I heat up the room, but it's sitting on cold concrete so I don't think it ever gets very warm. Or maybe I left the duct tape the face after watching a Martin Borgmeier video
  12. Makes sense. We all think the hard range warm up mats are actually easier to hit off of because the club doesn't sink in an cause a true fat shot. Fat shots off my Swingturf are heavily penalized.
  13. Just curious for the testers - how much do you think the mat you are using affects your results? My friends who work at a golf course (pros and maint people, all avid golfers) have a conversation going on that. I also see numerous comments on sim pages about this or that mat or insert and how it has affected spin, fat shots, etc. I'm pretty happy with mine, but wondering if it's affecting spin in some way.
  14. Yeah, it's that set. I found the shots from the session - they are somewhat mixed up as I was just hitting whatever I wanted to but the club impact video is definitely the P790 and with a 19*LA, that looks about right. I'm a bit shallow and not getting proper spin - something I'm trying to work on
  15. When I worked at a Trackman facility, I just used a tee peg to putt to. But we had thick "peggable" grass mats in there.
  16. I don’t think so. We were hitting balls in my sim and it was in the 20s. Had a heater going but too cold to help. The ball heats up from hitting and spinning on the screen and once I loosened up there were some 185-188 carry 8 irons (modern jacked lofts low spin etc P790).
  17. I totally understand. I’ll offer you my garage for the month. Even have a screen and projector ready…
  18. @Lacassem - did you rent a tent to hit in for the test or is that your normal winter setup? If so, wow! That's what I'd call all in!
  19. Makes sense now that I see it is in inches, not degrees as I thought it was. I definitely miss stuff when I'm looking on the phone vs. an iPad or full screen.
  20. What is the low point data tile? I'm not sure I've ever seen (or noticed) that before.
  21. To be honest, I'm here for the + review. You guys are going to get them in a week or so I think I read?
  22. I bought one recently and it was super harsh. So I’m getting one that has adjustable “K” I need to pick that up today. https://www.lowes.com/pd/BELL-HOWELL/5013690497
  23. Ahhhh, yes. I get it now. My unit sits slightly in front of where you hit so my brain didn’t put that all together. Thanks.
