Started late in golf and am self taught. I was in the Navy riding submarines for 20 years. So, most of my golf has been in the last 19 years. I always thought that teaching myself was a mistake, but have take a lesson now and then that distorted more than it fixed. My method has been to read, watch, and take on things I can do.

Due to little money available, I have worked in a small golf shop doing grips and building clubs for fun and to have enough money for clubs. I built my first real set one club at a time adjust loft, lie, length, and grip until it worked.
