  1. I feel like Dave Pelz answered this question in his Short Game Bible. IIRC, steeper descent angle leads causes more energy loss at impact with the ground, the ball bounces more vertically and stops quicker.
  2. Had my HM Pro’s at the range today. These clubs are exactly what I need in a club. Plenty of help while looking amazing. Mishits get more distance than I probably deserve but I’ll take it!
  3. Using the 2018 Trackman Average Tour Stats for driver carry, women are doing pretty well compared to men. PGA Tour pro's average 2.433 yards of carry per MPH of CHS while a LPGA Tour pro averages 2.319 yards of carry per MPH of CHS. https://blog.trackmangolf.com/trackman-average-tour-stats/
  4. I like the Blue however I feel no need to change from the Gunmetal S18's in my bag.
  5. TM could snap JP up. Titleist has Vokey, Callaway had Cleveland but TM is without a wedge guru.
  6. Not at all, with how Mizuno times their release cycles, the upcoming line get their full attention. The MP line and JPX line are aimed at different golfers. With the exception of the JPX 900/919 Tour, the JPX line is more game improvement. The last MP line is now without a true cavity back which is different than the past. In my eyes anyway, Mizuno is paring down their lines quite intelligently.
  7. Cool video of Chris VOSHALL's bag.
  8. I really didn't need to see this! Off to eBay I go!
  9. My buddy is a Mizuno rep and I sent him the phots I found online. His comment was pictures don't do the clubs justice.
  10. My list would be; Mizuno MP18 or MP18 SC Taylormade P730 Callaway Apex MB
  11. From what I have been told about the M3/M4 drivers is they use a new face technology that one of their new hires designed that assists with minimizing dispersion. If the story I was told is even remotely close to true, in testing of all handicap levels, TM was finding this face technology produced significantly better results on mishits. And the new hammerhead sole slot retains more ball speed on low face contacts. All in, if these new technologies work as designed TM should have a strong year.
  12. TM Warranty: "With respect to golf clubs, TaylorMade warrants, to the original consumer only, that its golf clubs will be free from defects in materials and workmanship during normal and customary use for 2 years from the original date of purchase from an authorized retailer provided (1) the consumer presents proof of purchase in the form of an original cash register receipt from the authorized retailer from whom the consumer purchased the product and (2) the golf club has not been abused, altered, defaced, or misused, or otherwise damaged through the act or neglect of the consumer or a third party." I guess they consider a sky mark misuse/damaged...
  13. Realistically, your launch and spin numbers aren't that bad for your swing speed. Could you drop spin and increase launch, sure but I'm not sure why you would if your currrent carry is 270-280. My club head speed is 105 mph on average. When I did my fitting, I used the ball I play and wanted to see spin averages in the 2200-2400 rpm window knowing that when I pure it I'll see less spin (knuckleball) and when I mishit one the ball shouldn't balloon. What ball did you use when getting fit?
  14. Based on Trackman Driver Fitting Chart Total Optimizer for 115-120 mph your numbers really are actually pretty good.
  15. Welcome! I'm an hour down the road in Chilliwack BC.
  16. I'm out in Chilliwack. My wife is just getting back into golf too. We need to get rid of some winter swing rust but we'd love to play sometime!
  17. This is my Lagotto Romagnolo Duffey and Frankie Sinatra Jr Jr (don't ask, the kids named him!).
