Ended up reading how hogan use to set up before each shot and played the best I have at the tail end of last year and played well enough to shoot 79 this weekend with very little winter golf. I will second this! Though some of the people who "remember back in my day" will say its more of a hybrid utility 1i then a true 1i, regardless. Its surprisingly easy to hit.

While playing a trial 18 at a local club I wanted to join, I had my first real issue with music on the course. This foursome comes music blaring- and I do mean blaring, as I am about to tee off on number 10. They looked like they'd had a few. I didn't mind the music; who doesn't like a little Zeppelin, but the volume and them being 5yds away was not a good combination. It was a good example of what not to do. Finally had a chance to play more and went to get fitted for Mizuno Mp 5s. Got fitted and went with Project X6.5 LZ shafts. They feel "smoother" than regular px shafts, still unsure about them. They look stunning though! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

I picked up a lot of goodies this month (and it's only the 15th) 1. Scotty Cameron Newport, don't know how I feel about the insert yet, not as squishy as the studio select, liked the matador grip and by far my favorite sole so far. 2. Vokey sm6 58, felt pretty good, got a 54 coming too. 3. Bridgestone black and white caps. Budget golf clearance $6.99. Just got a pair of 2015 Footjoy Icon Black from a friend who got the wrong size. Pretty comfortable insole and walking around felt pretty good, but the heel design was super disappointing for a shoe with a MSRP of 299+. I'll have to buy something to avoid a potential blister.

I have the swingbyte and tried the beta instruction it's good but it can't beat a pair of eyes, I've watched their YouTube videos breaking down swings, might take the plunge if I am going through a rough patch again. Had to take the last 2.5 weeks off due to some medial epicondylitis (golfers elbow) brought on by a moving injury, went out to play today and did 9, no problems just a bit of a pull sensation when hitting driver, which sucked because I had a field day driving. Finished +4 could've been better. on 18 which is a short par 5 at 523yds, cut the dog leg, hit a drive 357, had 128yds to go and then proceeded to shank my GW, but saved par. What a waste!
