FYI, Dick's is running a Cyber Monday promo of $20 off $100 purchase when done through their app, bringing 4 dozen back down to $100. https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/s/mobile-app-desktop-qr-code?_branch_match_id=963434651837439346&utm_source=web&utm_medium=marketing&_branch_referrer=H4sIAAAAAAAAA8soKSkottLXT8lMzi4uLsgvKsnMS0%2FPz08p1kssKNDLyczL1s9xCTc3jzLPSyxLAgDQV7znLwAAAA%3D%3D
  2. I don't care what other people play, but since I am generally interested in golf equipment I do like to check out what is in other people's bags and get their thoughts on their gear. The only judgement might be when someone shows up on the first tee and there is dried mud caked on their irons
  3. What golf related Christmas gifts are you asking for or giving this year? I've asked the big guy for a new rangefinder
  4. I have found that winter clothing for running and cycling along with layers and good socks work much better than most golf specific winter clothes. They seem to be thinner and provide more movement while still being lined. Also, this hat just got delivered a couple days ago and we'll see how it works this weekend.
  5. Looks like they did. With PXG it seems like you have to check the website daily
  6. With the 2 dozen for $60 deal it comes out the same as $120 cube. And free shipping!
  7. I switched to the Maxfli Tour in yellow a few weeks ago for the same reason and it seems to help some, but the leaves around here are still eating a ball a couple times a round. I think I am going to try these glasses to see if they help. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B08BLDLRMW?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
  8. This time of year I have a very difficult time seeing the ball in the air even when I switch to yellow balls. Have you found any glasses that can help? Came across these on Amazon and wondering if they work. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B09PGKLGHH/ref=twister_B0826L9C8N?_encoding=UTF8&th=1
  9. I got these last winter and really liked them. They are warm and stop the wind without being too cumbersome. I think any fleeced lined hiking pants would work. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q3B3NR6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  10. What is the price? Those are very solid game improvement irons.
  11. If they aren't letting you on the course it sounds like a policy to me
  12. From what I can understand the club has a policy you don't like and has made it clear they do not intend to change it. Another club has a more flexible policy. The easy solution is to go to the other club that is more interested in your business.
  13. Its about time to replace the spikes on my shoes. What do you think are the best replacement soft spikes for FootJoy shoes?
  14. Seems pretty simple. Either pay to get a GHIN (there are lots of options less than $80) or find a new group.
  15. Does it come with a full set of iron covers!?! now lets see people lose their minds...
  16. You'd have to hit them both to compare, but from the article this morning it sounds like the new version is lower spinning which might not be ideal for a lot of players.
  17. After playing the Snell MTB-X exclusively for several seasons I switched to the Maxfli Tour X this year and love it. Great performance and even better price.
  18. How have the CPX's durability held up? I am thinking about making the switch and for some reason they feel to me that they will wear down quickly
  19. I played a sleeve of Pro V1 Left Dash's for the first time this weekend and they were monsters off the tee with manageable greenside spin. Pretty much every DTC ball company compares their offering to the ProV1/x, but do any of the DTC companies make something that compares to the Left Dash at a lower price point?

  21. Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. Have you tried adjusting the loft to somewhere in the middle and see how that works?

Dick's does free shipping for online orders over $65 so a cube would be covered if you want to go that route.
  23. I think the Imperial True Fit Performance hats are the best. They can be rinsed off in the sink and dry quickly https://imperialsports.com/product/the-original-performance/
  24. What are your thoughts on bucket hats? The sun protection is very appealing but are they just too much Spaulding Smails?
  25. Looks like it could be fun. I'm going to give it a try this weekend.
