I think the Imperial True Fit Performance hats are the best. They can be rinsed off in the sink and dry quickly https://imperialsports.com/product/the-original-performance/

What are your thoughts on bucket hats? The sun protection is very appealing but are they just too much Spaulding Smails?

Looks like it could be fun. I'm going to give it a try this weekend.

I have always thought clubs should put a monitor in the grill room or pro shop with group names and their time in relation to pace of play. Shame can be a pretty good motivator.

I've tried them both and they are great balls for the price. The Tour Speed is probably the longest ball I have ever played, but you give up some spin for that distance.
-
I played my first round with the Maxfli TourX this morning. The ball is fantastic and very similar to the Snell. They are on sale and with the $20 in store coupon I don't think you can beat 4 dozen balls for $90.

I just switched over to the PXG 0211DC irons and with the jacked lofts I added a set matched Gap Wedge. So right now I am gaming set PXG 42* & 48* along with TaylorMade Hi Toe 50*, 54* & 58*. I can probably drop the TaylorMade 50* as I pretty much only use that and the 48* for full shots, but sometimes like to pitch with it.

Generally speaking I think handicaps and various tee boxes do a great job of making golf fair, but I agree that skins games are the exception and give a big advantage to a high handicapper that can mix in a few birdies with their doubles.

There are lots of free and low cost resources for mental health care. https://www.healthline.com/health/therapy-for-every-budget. I would suggest that he check some of them out instead of spending money on golf.

No, they should seek treatment for their conditions and avoid triggers. If being asked what he does for a living is such a trigger he should avoid situations where that is a pretty common conversation starter.

Is your friend 7 years old getting intimidated by big bad businessmen and storming off after 5 holes?

I posted this in another forum but realized this is more appropriate: I am putting an old TaylorMade Hi Toe wedge with a copper finish back in the bag and as you can see from the photos below the copper finish is coming off. Its not a big deal and just cosmetic, but does anyone have any suggestions how how to either touch it up or completely remove it for a raw finish?

My 0211's came today and got them out this afternoon. Kaboom!!! These things are fantastic and I can't believe the price! They feel great and I have never seen a mishit keep its distance like this. I highly recommend anyone in the market to check them out!

If its in good condition and the right fit I'd have no problem buying a demo club

I picked up the same one last summer and it really helps. Icing the elbow after the round helps a lot also.

For those of you that listen to music on the course are there any Apple Music playlists you recommend?

What would everyone consider the closest performing ball on the market to the MTB-X?

I played the RBZ 3 wood for a few years. It was an absolute monster off the tee, longer than any 3 wood I have played before or since, but was a mess off the deck for me.

Great advice. In addition, If possible take a shower and do a full change of clothes between the rounds.

I am 6'5" and find a 35.5" comfortable with my arms hanging freely.

Update: Got fitted last night for 0211 and they felt great! Now I just have to figure out how I am not going to go crazy waiting the 2 weeks for them to arrive! Also, they are still charging $30 for Golf Pride grips, so I will be swapping out the PXG grips when they get here.

When I got my new driver last year the distance gains were nominal, but the consistency and dispersion were a a significant improvement over the 7 year old technology of my old driver.
