Right now, probably only one club guaranteed a spot in my 2018 bag. Putter: Brainstorm Golf Happy Putter Blade V2 Thing feels so good in hand, and I am very confident even over that 10-15 foot range putt. I don't foresee it leaving my bag any time soon. Everything else though, is on notice. Perform or get yanked.

I tend to try to buy wedges new, just because they wear down so quickly. Everything else however, I have no qualms finding out on eBay or the used rack at golf stores.

MCC Plus 4's on all of my clubs. Love their durability, and since I play with a glove, they don't tear up my hand. There are very few grips that I can play that I don't feel as if they'll fly out of my hand if I don't hold the club with a death grip ... these fit the bill though.

I like to full swing my wedges, but with the ones currently in my bag (W/S PMP's) the mishits can be pretty darn penal. I switched over to a C200 SW, which covers me to 54*, but that last slot is open. I've got my eye on the new Cleveland CBX however ... now, do I want to go 58 or 60?

I've passed through a number of times (been a member since 2014) but decided to introduce myself and post for a few. I'm a relatively new hacker (started playing about 4 years ago) and I'm down to a 21 handicap ... mostly because I can't find the time to practice with two children under the age of 4. After a boondoggle finding a good coach, I finally found one so I'm hoping to see some major improvements - hopefully next year will see a significant drop in my handicap. Not brand-loyal, which is probably why my bag looks like a hodge-podge of companies, but they work for me. Always looking for the next thing to throw in the bag however.

Thanks for this. I do have a new (to me) set of clubs, and knowing how I can get them fit better for my game is something that I would be interested in doing. I don't know if I plan to stick with them forever (I'm a golfer, I'm addicted to shiny new clubs) but knowing they are fit to my current game would be nice. Hopefully this guy is a good fitter ... I will find out soon enough! Well, after taking a couple lessons to work on grooving my existing swing.

So I received a free club fitting for Christmas. Very excited about it! The fitting is at a country club and they sell a specific brand of clubs, so the fitting will no doubt be aimed at those clubs. The pro is also a licensed fitter for that brand. My question is ...it is reasonable to assume that can I take those specs (loft, lie, shafts, etc) and apply it towards a different brand if I decide not to go with the brand that the CC deals with, right?
