  1. I just read roughly 150 emails from this thread as I have been working 3 -12 hour Nursing shifts this week. I haven't been following the thread until now. Thanks you guys for keeping me posted. I feel like I got the highlights from the posters.
  2. I have loved the parts I have seen this week. I just Hope fax is done with golf. Or at least done not showing the shits you want to see while the camera is panning elsewhere or stuck on the golfer or jiggling arohnd. They have shot sports before right? This is terrjble
  3. These shared stories are inspiring. I had a recent, albeit small, experience when I got a three club demo from BH. They are lovely and as you will read, fantastic golf clubs
  4. Handicap is 10.2 (fluctuating between 9.9 and 10.4) Hogan.... I mean it is synonymous with greatness in golf and individual determination. When I was a kid my father was a club pro. In his shop one day I saw a Red Bag with a set of Junior clubs in it. They were Hogans, i was smitten. Shortly after, my parents were divorced. On my 12th Birthday my father gave me that set of clubs. I loved them very much. I would like to say that I went on to play from that day forward, but no. My step father (whom I consider to be the guiding male figure in my life) wasn't interested in golf. Years later when my soon to be wife got me started playing again, i pulled out those clubs, dusted them off and realized they could no longer be played by me. I was sad, but they set a spark in my gut that has helped me play for 20+ years now. When the Hogan company was relaunched I could not have been more excited and desperatly want to play or at least give them an honest try. I have been playing a set of Tommy Armour 845's since 1999 and feel like it is time to change. I set a goal of breaking 10 handicap as that goal for new irons. The Ben Hogan company has arrived just as I have made that happen. Sheerly through determination. In the last 2.5 years (after a long lapse in playing{family life}) I have gone from 18 to breaking into the 9's through gritting it out, learning, reading (Hogan, Jones, Snead, MyGolfSpy and many other things) and sweat. I am ready for these irons. I am so ready. Just in case my attachment doesn't work. MY HoganFit is: Lofts - 21, 25, 30, 34, 38, 42, 46, 50, 54, 58 Lie is 1 Up KBS Tour 90 Stiff Standard Length Standard Hogan Grip in Midsize (or the Crossline Ace Midsize (grey with red cap)
  5. I have three club demo coming my way anyday now. They sent me an email saying I was invited to try a free three club demo. I cannot wait to see them in person.
  6. Repost from my AskGolfGuru app question (updated) Mark, I love the vlogs, tips and reviews. Keep 'em coming. Here is my question. I want to take some lessons, but I don't know what I really want from them. I play at an 11 currently and need consistency more than anything, but we are all seeking that, I think. How do I approach this? I have an instructor in mind and my wife has given me the lessons for Christmas. I just don't know what I need from the lessons. Scott King Athens, Ga USA ps. My Ball striking is pretty good mostly out of the center, driving is really good at times (not overly long, but down the middle or mostly playable) My putter woes have mostly disappeared with my new Odyssey 9 XG, love it. Short game is okay and I have a good touch. I just want to get overall better, but I just don't know where to start. Sorry, I am always wordy when typing.
  7. 11.2 Hdcp 93-ish SS Srizon Z-star Love these balls! Pick me! pick me!
