I agree. I have have mine for two years nd I can’t imagine switching. Not only do I get a lot of “oh’s and ash’s” or “I love your putter”but it is the best damn putter I have touched. I’m not an exceptional putter if the ball but I am convinced this helps me and I sink more putts because of it.
Added bonus, when I visited MGS they gave me a super pimp putter cover for it.

I can’t speak to the shoe hurting my feet but I have had plantar fasciitis in the past and have never experienced True’s hurting my feet. I have had 5 different styles of Trues and if they are nothing else they were always comfortable. I still keep a pair of the Oxfords to wear casually as they look great and are still comfortable. They lost their ability to keep my feet dry ( was a problem with the model and they replaced them twice for free) and I can’t really golf in them any longer. The OG’s are so good I don’t think anything other then the new brown color way or the Major’s could pry them off my feet.
I am a Nurse, a former Marine and a walking golfer. I have very high standards for my shoes.

True has a 30 day guarantee you should look at. Their shoes are incredibly comfortable to walk in. As well they perform like a great golf shoe should. Give em a try.

They also get free shoes and paid for wearing them. 1 pair a week or a day if they wish. I don’t think it is a good comparison

I felt the same way for a while. Had some Trues that were terrible. But I got a pair of the new OG’s in green. They are the bomb. True really has retooled their design and manufacturing to a very high standard. I cannot day enough about how happy I am with my new True’s. Give them a try you will not be dissatisfied. And if you are they have a money back guarantee.

Some old tech but a grail set of Hogan’s for me. 1955 Hogan Precision full set 1-4 woods, 2-9 iron all original.

A beautiful design that still looks great over 60 years later.

I’m a nurse. I am on my feet a lot. But I walk. I find it relaxing or exercise. Or sometimes both. I started fast the other day and blew through the round in 2:53. My course is a difficult walk and very hilly. There is no break from the hills, especially when you leave the 13th green.
I walked 48 (my age) at Sweetens Cove about a month ago. The day before I slogged 27 in rain gear.
Enjoy the Walk. The walk makes my game better

This sounds like most of the guys who I sometimes golf with here in Tallahassee. I’ll try and organize a foursome for a Saturday morning far in advance and everyone has something better to do. However when I call them up and say I have a free round somewhere all of a sudden everyone’s schedule magically opens up.

Moral of the story. Talk is cheap. And yeah, I stopped trying to organize any golf group anywhere. It’s just impossible to get anyone to commit to anything, unless it’s free to them and you do all the work for them.

I'm surprised to hear this. IMHO it would take a full year to plan before a launch. MGS and perhaps some vendors would have to underwrite this and it wouldn't be cheap. I believe for a national scale event it would require dividing up the US into regions and have qualifiers throughout the year with those winners or placeholders advancing to the National Championship in the fall. It'd be a big deal all around. Would I play in such an event? Maybe. Show me the plan.

Not a scoring milestone, but .. hit most of the fairways in a 9-hole round and .. importantly for me .. that included a few solid shots with a driver (and - a rental set driver, no less)!
Looking forward to reporting more good news as this season progresses.

If you do decide I don't mind getting it done, but only if it's new I don't really refinish putters with dings etc.

So I finally found a blade styled anser/ Newport putter that suits me well and it's the evnroll er 1.2 ,I played it one round and I just seemed to make more Birdie's with it than anything I had 3 Birdie's that were over 10 feet ,one was 20 that I usually miss or come close but then i made many par putts within that dreaded 5 ft range, now to my quest to make it black lol I played two rounds before u sent it off,lol

So I've always gravitated towards the black putters at the stores, they just look better to my eye but the evnroll didn't come in black so being a I go all in guy I had to find a black finish that would not change the feel and last and not wear off, something like that cobra forged black dbm finish

So I looked into black oxide, torching, Caswell blackener and they all have something I did not like about them whether it was too thick or wore off fast etc.

I'm a watchsmith and I have done pvd and dlc coatings to make watches like panerai and quite a few Rolex subs/gmt look like tool watches, but back then pvd would wear easily which is the look that many of my customers wanted and it didn't change anything enough in the metal so I could put it back together easily but the dlc was much stronger but also thicker so tighter bezels in watches would not go back on so we didn't use it that much

so i contacted the company and discussed options for my putter and I was wowed that they actually have a  "layered dlc" that was stronger than what I've seen before which was really tough and it is also now thinner than what I've used in the past here is what I was told

Layered DLC is as hard and even harder in some cases than natural diamond
The dlc problems in the past was how it would stick to the metal but this problem was solved by the use of multilayer coating, it is also used alot in camshafts in high powered engines

So I was like when can I send it to you, lol he said send it now and check it out I was like how much? He said just pay the shipping you have always been a good customer to us consider it a favor, but I had to do the other work which was removed the shaft and remove the paint fill

So it began last week and I got it back today, it looks awesome,I will send after pictures when I take them later on
