  2. Date 02/11/2024 Course Name TPC SCOTTSDALE Gross Score 75 Course Handicap 0 Gross Strokes over/under par 4 Net Score to Par 4 Net Score 75 Net Birdies or better 5 Longest Drive 310 SIM Round? SIM Started out good then had a bogie streak in the middle. Had back to back birdies on 12, and 13, to get back to even. I'm thinking here we go!!! Then triple, double... lol Driver wasn't as straight this round, and got me into a bit of trouble, and had 2 fails coming out of the sand... Crazy game we play.
  3. Date 02/10/2024 Course Name TPC SCOTTSDALE Gross Score 69 Course Handicap 0 Gross Strokes over/under par -2 Net Score to Par -2 Net Score 69 Net Birdies or better 4 Longest Drive 314 SIM Round? SIM good round. Left 3 putts that were online short... couldve been better. I hit 6 fairways only but avg drive was 299, best Ive done distance wise for avg. So happy with the round.
  4. Date 02/08/2024 Course Name THE LEGEND AT GIANTS RIDGE Gross Score 77 Course Handicap 0 Gross Strokes over/under par 5 Net Score to Par 5 Net Score 77 Net Birdies or better 2 Longest Drive 309 SIM Round? SIM had an ok round, with a few drives that cost me. Nice Sim course for sure.
  5. cleveland cbx 50 cleveland cbx 54 cleveland cbx2 58 vokey sm6 62 Really am interested in the vokey sm10's. May go to a 3 wedge system instead of 4. Did the online vokey sizing thingie, have 2 possibilities; Unsure which route I'd go. Would love a fitting tbh.
  6. Guard dogs Ripper & Beth, lol. They stare at the back of my head through my office window. Ripper has a bucket, lol. He carries it with him while doing his patrols at night. Brings it with him wherever he goes. He's nuts lol. ripper and his bucket;
  7. Date 02/04/2024 Course Name TORREY SOUTH Gross Score 82 Course Handicap 0 Gross Strokes over/under par 10 Net Score to Par 10 Net Score 82 Net Birdies or better 1 Longest Drive 310 SIM Round? SIM Another uninspiring round, lol. My driver worked half the time, and was fighting just to make par most holes. Head just wasn't 100 percent in the game. My buddy had a decent round though.
  8. I have really worked on my attitude in general, and focus in golf. I used to be a real hot head, and when that occurred my game suffered, and I had some real miserable rounds, in score and in fun factor. I still am grumpy somedays and am not myself and usually are my worst days on the course score wise. But I still try to have fun as I know its better than sitting on the couch, or doing yardwork lol. It's been a long time since I lost my composure on the course. I'm sure it's been better for my playing partners enjoyment of the game too! lol. My enjoyment of the game has improved immensely, as has my desire to improve.
  9. No expert, but I always try use as little carry as possible to get on the green and roll out to the hole. If its a 60 yard shot and 30 yards are green and its fairly flat I'd probably hit an 8' o'clock 54 degree, carrying 36 yards and rolling out to 60. If its a 60 yard shot and only 10 yards are green and its fairly flat I would hit a 9 o'clock 58 carrying it 53 and rolling out to 60 Key is to know all your wedge carry distances with an 8, 9, and 10 o'clock swings and how much rollout is expected from each loft. Sucks, but is a huge part of my club selection.
  10. Had the SIM round of my life yesterday. Shot a 63, and had a 11' putt on 18 to go to 62, but missed... Wasn't expecting this as my last solo round I shot +10, and I played in a 3 man scramble Saturday night, and wasn't much help to be honest. But when my driver is semi straight I can score much better, and it seemed to be working for the most part this round. My short game was above average for me, with not missing any substantial putts. Play a clan round tonight 4 ball. Hopefully can keep it up. For those of you with GSPro I would recommend Mid South Club for a round. It is quite nice!
  11. I hit the AI Smoke Triple diamond, and Max D while I was in Palm Springs. The triple Diamond was a beast, I would say is longer, and just seemed easier to hit than last years Paradym. Can't wait to try it again, and side to side with my Paradym. The Max D does what it advertised, it turned my draw into a hook. Definitely 10 yards of help there for fade hitters. I should of hit the Max, not the Max D. But I ran out of time.
  12. Date 01/24/2024 Course Name BAREFOOT - DYE Gross Score 82 Course Handicap 0 Gross Strokes over/under par 10 Net Score to Par 10 Net Score 82 Net Birdies or better 0 Longest Drive 294 SIM Round? SIM My first round on tour, and one of my worst in awhile, lol Was a pretty hard course. Was over 7200 yards and I couldn't stop hooking my drives. Not a normal thing for me. Ah well that's golf. Hope I filled everything out correctly. Barefoot- Dye GSPro
  13. I usually play Prov1's and TP5's outside. My local golf shop got a carton of left dash prov1's sent to them by accident. No idea if they will be more available next year, but I bought 7 dozen lol. Haven't tried on my sim. Will try some on my Palm Springs trip this winter.
  14. I would love to try the Maxfli Tour line (can only find online) to compare to the PRov1 and TP5's I normally use. I did try go with a budget ball previously, but they were missing 2000 backspin on approach shots as compared to prov1 and tp5. I have a tray that will hold like 30 balls, and I rotate them during a round (will hit till tray is empty then refill). I've had some balls last months this way. And really don't notice the price, as I don't lose them in the bush like outside, lol. Before every round I inspect every ball, even the smallest scratch or mark, I turf it. Will make your screen last longer. If you cheap on balls or use them too long it will wear out your screen super fast. I think its cheaper to replace balls more often, than your screen.
  15. Autoputt tour on SGT Rd. 1. Very skinny course. Was tough.
  16. Needed a new 3 wood. With review on here and price comparison this was a no brainer. It is very consistent for carry distance 248-255 in my testing, and is higher ball flight which suits my game.
  17. Last years goal was to break par on my 9 hole course. I shot -1 twice. This years goals; -shoot minus par on back to back 9's on my home course (18) -continue with Axius Core workout program see where that leads (Sexiest man in Canada??? lol jj)
  18. I liked it. Love the drone shots before every hole to show you the lay out. Seemed like lots of fun for the competitors. I would watch again. But its golf, I'll watch anything golf, lol. Was a huge fan of Big Break too.
  19. As I have a Gc2 without the HMT (club data), I rely on video and the ball data. No expert for sure, but I noticed a few things. For example for my driver I usually am 160- 170 ballspeed, if my spin is around 2200 and the vertical launch angle is around 14. Which should make my max ball height around 100'. Those numbers will be 30 yards longer than if my spin is around 3000+, or my launch is low like 9. It is like night and day. A few degree or a little extra spin is the difference between 260-270 to 290-310. Everything else the same.
  20. I've had mine since May. I find it close to the same distance as my old Epic LS, maybe a few less Ball Speed, but the dispersion is much tighter. I find more fairways without a doubt. After this video I've set everything to neutral and it seems to do its job quite well.
  21. black or gold tees, hitting driver all the way. If I make it over or am on right of the sand traps would be perfect. If I end up in the bunker it is ok as fairway bunkers aren't usually too hard. I'd never hit anything less as leaves too long of a second shot.
  22. I live in a small community 20 minutes out of the city. We have a beautiful 9 hole course. The membership is $600/season or $660 with the range pass, lol. So ya got my moneys worth a few times over haha. Perfect for 9 holes after work.
  23. I don't mind either way. I used to care, but it doesn't bother me anymore. I agree its rude not to ask first before playing music though.
