I was one of the first golfers to give them a try and I will say they are very good gloves.  They are not super thin nor are they too thick.  The fit is true to size and they last a good while.   They are definitely worth trying and they give deals every once in a while which you can take advantage of.  

I started using them when they had a go fund me to start the Company. These gloves are the real deal.  They are great!  Lots of styles and colours.  The quality of these gloves is off the charts. 
You will not be disappointed!  Can’t recommend these highly enough.  Their customer service is great too. 

Just got back from 5 days at Sand Valley , played both courses twice and the sandbox twice.  First class operation, just like Bandon without the ocean.  Take caddies , they will make your walk enjoyable and they will help out tremendously with putting and lines .  Ask for Don , he is the best caddy there, he actually played professional golf ( super nice guy ). Make sure you check out the food truck for some awesome food !  The accommodations are great !

I went from a 110 KBS shaft to an 85 True Temper  Elevation shafts on my irons and have not lost any distance.  In fact, the feel is much better going back, you can feel the shaft load vs. feeling boardy or too stout .

The key to getting fitted is to go to at least 3 different places ( ie 2nd Swing, Club Champion, PXG , PGA Superstore  etc ) If you do that you will get feedback from a few sources to validate shaft, lie angle, etc...   As you move through the process you will be more educated with the information provided by the previous fitter.  It takes more time but it's worth it if you are going to spend $1500 on a new set of irons .  Have them print off the information from your fitting .  I have no problem telling them I am going to go to another fitting before I make my decision.  Read up on the shafts they recommend too. 

I use a tee occasionally.  No big deal ; just another way of marking your ball. 
 

Not a fan of music on the golf course.  Because I like music so much I find myself listening to the song and not concentrating on my shot.  There really is no upside to having music . Isn't part of golf to hang with your buddies and talk bullsh*t.  Why do you need music ?  

I have a Dorfman Pacific soaker hat available on Amazon.  I soak the hat in the clubhouse before tee time, but its dry after 2-3 holes in the <20% humidity here in the desert.  I use the water coolers on the #5, #8, #13 and #16 tees to re-soak it.  If the wind is up, I have to switch to a regular hat because it's distracting.

 

A Titleist Aussie works for me. You can, also, look at fishing, and, hiking hats, in addition to golf hats.  And be sure to check for a UPF rating. 

I like the Aussie Chiller hats they come in both narrow and wide brim. A benefit is that you can soak them for added heat relief. FYI, you want to protect your ears which most people don't put sunscreen on. 

Any sort of sun hat from your course (my course has them so I assume yours would too) or from the OEMs work well.

Living in AZ we get a lot of brutal sun .  What hats seem to work best for sun protection ?  Not interested in waterproof as it rarely rains , mainly sun protection for the face area.  I can always put my collar up on my shirt for my neck and I do not like that flap for the neck area.  Trying to keep it compact but yet effective. 

I own a few pair of long white pants and several white shorts.   They are cooler to wear , and they look great with all golf shirts.  The key is owning several pair so you can rotate them and not get them all worn out or dirty around the pocket areas.  Look at the tour, a lot  of those guys are wearing white .  I don't wear a white belt .

Definitely agree on getting rid of the 60 degree.  I play a 58 and my home course that  has super fast greens and you can open up a 58 and manage the shots just fine, along with the fact that you can get more distance to play less than 90 yards shots with the 58.  Yes tour players use a 60 but they also hit 100 shots a day practicing and when they are short sided on tour they need the 60 and more.  My gapping process starts with my pitching wedge and then moves to the higher lofted wedges to determine what I want in full to half swing yardages.

Most of my shoes have spikes , however I do own several pairs of G-Fore shoes because the bottoms have excellent gripping power without being a traditional spike.  The key with G-Fore shoes is to not wear them out by walking on concrete and paths.  Also , owning several pair will keep you from wearing down the same pair.
