  1. Here is my story of switching to Cobra. So I have always been a blade player starting on the golden bears back in the 80s and as I got older I became a dedicated mizuno blade player and really for 15 years I wouldn't play anything else but their irons. However, I did switch back and forth between vokey and mizuno wedges. Anyhow, the point of this story is that while I loved playing mizuno irons there came a point where I became a golf coach and cobra gave a discount to high school teams and Mizuno not so much. So I figured what the heck lets give their blades a try, specifically the Pro Fly Z irons, and man these irons felt and blew the Mizuno MP 69s I was playing out of the water. Was gonna get MP4s but didn't like the feel of them so that helped me pull trigger on Cobras. I cant speak highly enough of cobras gear. As for srixon I've only hit a few of them in the winter at my local golf shop on the simulator. They look awesome at address but when I came to the blades meh it wasn't anything better. Maybe I have just grown partial to my Fly Z pros but none the less I thought I'd share. Obviously I know you are looking at the CBs so funny enough I can tell you my dad bought a set of Mizuno JPX 900s at a great deal with custom shafts just to take the shafts out to put into his cobras because the shaft he wanted cost more then the new set of irons. He gamed the mizunos and didn't like them compared to his cobra irons just in case but he is in the process of switching them out. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  2. The real question is why don't we get this type of service in the states! Check this site out, made me so jealous! http://golf.mizunoeurope.com/yoro/ Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. Spent about 2.5 hrs at the range today working on alignment and pre-shot routine for about 30 mins. Took a 10 min breather and set up station for videoing my swing, first noticed I was getting a cupped wrist at top of swing due to length of take away. Decided to work on shortening my swing and proper footwork to keep my self from tucking my butt under me during downswing. All in all by end of session I was hitting sweet spot on every shot. 4. Anyone have experience with Grenade Wedges? A set of 3 52,56, and 60 degree cost $82 after an online code. Worth it or waste of money? A buddy of mine is interested. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. I rank them pretty high up. I really love the look of them at address and they feel absolutely amazing when you hit that solid shot. I was struggling with Cleveland RTX 2.0 wedges at end of last season and decided to get new wedges for that reason. They perform like the vokeys and have a soft feel like the mizunos I have owned in the past, so I really really like them and think they are worth a swing. I play MBs and the feel of these will be similar to that. I went with the Versatile grind and they are really easy to open up. I can provide pics if you'd like. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. All good picks there. I game cobra pur wedges myself but have gamed all the above and of those the mizuno was definitely my favorite. Dr: Cobra F7+ 10.5*, 3W 13.5* and 5W 18.5*: Cobra F7, 3i-P: Cobra Fly Z Pro MB, 52* and 58*: Cobra King Pur

  8. I just use my phone but it comes with a camera mount, go pro mount, and phone mount. I like the V1 golf app I have so I stick with my phone. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. So went to the golf shop to put a new grip on my putter went with a Winn Midsize Excel putter grip built up +2 wraps on the bottom. And since I brought my daughter who is starting to get the golfing bug I also ended up leaving with this.. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. Got the Polar Pro Trippler. Great little stand that packs away easily in your bag. Great for quick on course filming of your golf swing. Only extends to about 28-30inches but gets what I need to analyze. Anyone else use something similar? Better? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  11. Your best route maybe to take your swing speed into account. I personally agree with Jmikecpa that the UT iron is easy to hit but then again I play off fluctuating scratch to 2 handicap and have a 115-120mph swing speed so I crush the two iron as I don't need the help. So me saying the club is easy to hit is only relative to me. Anytime I let any of my friends hit the club that range from 6-14 handicaps they couldn't hit the ball anywhere near as far as they could do with their hybrids. So if you feel you need a little spring off the club face hybrids will offer that. Again this could all just be relative to my friends. Also definitely go hit and get some numbers for comparison Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  12. I would say stick with another hybrid since you have one in the bag already you will find it to give you a more consistent gapping then going to a UT iron. I could be wrong but I think unless you are catching it consistently off the screws the UT iron may not suit your needs. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  13. What are you hoping to get out of the club. If your looking to get out of trouble then the UT iron is miserable out of there. I have the 2i Apex UT and unless I was in fairway or off tee I never used it. It is also a strikers club it does not favor any sort of miss hits. Which was why I opted to go with the cobra 5W and now I have one club that does it all. I'm sure their hybrid does as well. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  14. I can only speak to their F7 woods which are awesome and have same tech as hybrid. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  15. Cobra F7 5W. It is hands down the most versatile club I have in the bag. I can hit it out of 6 inch rough. It is worth a look and I believe cobra dropped prices recently. It's worth your time to give it a test. Cobra also has some nice free upgrades in shafts online as well. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
