  1. So after watching this weekends tournament here are my thoughts. Jason Day and Rory look awful in these shirts! But, But Brooks Koepka looks like a lady killer in the shirt. So to wear this shirt I think you need to be apparently muscular. So may have to get one since I've been working on my fitness. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  2. Here is my story of switching to Cobra. So I have always been a blade player starting on the golden bears back in the 80s and as I got older I became a dedicated mizuno blade player and really for 15 years I wouldn't play anything else but their irons. However, I did switch back and forth between vokey and mizuno wedges. Anyhow, the point of this story is that while I loved playing mizuno irons there came a point where I became a golf coach and cobra gave a discount to high school teams and Mizuno not so much. So I figured what the heck lets give their blades a try, specifically the Pro Fly Z
  3. The real question is why don't we get this type of service in the states! Check this site out, made me so jealous! http://golf.mizunoeurope.com/yoro/ Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. I do a similar thing when hitting all my shots. I whistle when I waggle and hit all my shots. Helps keep me from gripping club too tight and keeps my arms relaxed. Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy
  5. Spent about 2.5 hrs at the range today working on alignment and pre-shot routine for about 30 mins. Took a 10 min breather and set up station for videoing my swing, first noticed I was getting a cupped wrist at top of swing due to length of take away. Decided to work on shortening my swing and proper footwork to keep my self from tucking my butt under me during downswing. All in all by end of session I was hitting sweet spot on every shot. 6. Anyone have experience with Grenade Wedges? A set of 3 52,56, and 60 degree cost $82 after an online code. Worth it or waste of money? A buddy of mine is interested. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. Same way I do off the cart path when the closest point of relief gives me no shot. Open the face and play a chip shot. https://youtu.be/FYrZKH5yihY Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  8. 6'1" and I play 2* up but will probably go in tomorrow to get my lie angle checked again. I've been working on my swing and made a few adjustments so I want to get my lie angle checked again Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. Ironic that's when the pro said this new group took over at Tot Hill. Yeah I definitely loved Tobacco! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. Not sure if any of you have ever heard of Greystone Golf course but was designed by Joe Lee the architect behind Doral. It's in Whitehall MD and I think it's pretty centrally located. I played it a couple years ago and thought it was a pretty fun track. Anyhow I'd definitely be interested in a meet up of MGS members. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  11. The lofts I game are a 52 and a 58. My pitching wedge is a 46 I play MBs so there was no need in my set up to feel the need to get a custom wedge. I game a 52 because I personally like to flight my approach shots a tad lower and doing so with say a 54-56 sometimes would go a little higher than what I was looking for. I game the 58 for so many different types shots from flop shots, bunkers around the green, shots where I want to give a little more spin, 80 yard knock downs to full 100 yd shots. It is a very versatile club for me when I feel I don't have a lot of green to work with. My PW when
  12. I rank them pretty high up. I really love the look of them at address and they feel absolutely amazing when you hit that solid shot. I was struggling with Cleveland RTX 2.0 wedges at end of last season and decided to get new wedges for that reason. They perform like the vokeys and have a soft feel like the mizunos I have owned in the past, so I really really like them and think they are worth a swing. I play MBs and the feel of these will be similar to that. I went with the Versatile grind and they are really easy to open up. I can provide pics if you'd like. Sent from my iPhone using M
  13. All good picks there. I game cobra pur wedges myself but have gamed all the above and of those the mizuno was definitely my favorite. Dr: Cobra F7+ 10.5*, 3W 13.5* and 5W 18.5*: Cobra F7, 3i-P: Cobra Fly Z Pro MB, 52* and 58*: Cobra King Pur
  14. I don't know why but I hate the new "Henley" style golf shirt the tour players are wearing now. Anyone else annoyed with that look? Maybe I'm in the outside group here but I just think this particular fashion is too surferboy-esque for me. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
