  1. Yeah it was an awesome write up so far. Thank you for your time and really putting in a great effort. Also what did you use to track your ball flight in the video? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  2. I'm always in to give Wilson a shout out whenever I can. I suppose I'm a bit younger and a few years ago I fell into the category of not knowing Wilson made high quality stuff outside of the box sets. It wasn't until I started working in the industry that I saw their "good stuff" and I gave it a try and I've been hooked on their irons ever since. As a company they've always been really easy to work with and the rep in our area is awesome. I think they have a lot of good things going for them and I hope they continue to grow. 3. Alright now that is a sick bag and a cool company that I would like to support. Going to have to buy another bag I don't need.... Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  4. This is awesome and I'm glad Wilson will be getting some love here. When I got my new FG Tour F5's in, I compared the 7 irons of my "old" Tour 100's, the new F5's, and the C200's. I was pleased with the improvement and consistency with switching to the F5's. I was blown away with how well the C200's performed. On average, I gained 3 mph of ball speed switching to the F5's and the C200's were 4 mph more than the F5's! They were crazy hot off the face and had a nice high ball flight. If people are looking for some distance with forgiveness, the C200's need to be thrown into the mix of irons to demo. They flat out perform. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  5. Congrats guys! Excited to hear the reviews on this one! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  6. I've only played Teeth of the Dog on a simulator...also probably not very helpful advice haha. It's very long and has a lot of water on it.
  7. Chris, Utah Titleist 910 D3 Aldila Tour Green X flex. 110 mph and around 275. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  8. That's a great looking set up dude. The SM 6's have been my favorite purchase so far this year. Hope they work well for you. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  9. This really is an awesome thread! Thanks for starting and sharing all the stories! I started playing when I was 8 years old in 1997...any guesses on why?? Of course it was because of Tiger Woods. I loved baseball and played on every team I could get on. So when I saw Tiger on TV I asked my dad if I could start playing. Baseball was my true passion through high school so I didn't really take golf too serious until college and now it has consumed my life (which only my wife complains about). My first set of true big boy clubs were an R1 driver, Adams Tight Lies 3 wood and Callaway X-forged irons.

  11. UPDATE! Now that I have been able to swing my new SM6 a few times and really work the kinks out, I can't believe I ever stopped playing Vokey wedges. IMHO they are just the best wedges. Full disclosure, I haven't played a lot of smaller wedge companies that make good products, but I've tried just about every other major OEM wedge and Vokey's just get the job done for me. I was hitting my Wilson Staff wedge side by side with the SM6 and the biggest difference I noticed on green side chips was the difference in how the clubs interacted with the turf. The SM6 cut through the grass so much better. I was amazed that with my crappy golf game that I could feel the difference. I'm very pleased with my purchase and for the time being, I'll be playing Vokey's for the foreseeable future.
  12. Sorry for the delay, things have been crazy busy lately. Luckily I was chosen for the most simple item to review. The SwingClick Plus is a stupid-simple and an awesome swing trainer. I pulled it out of the box, strapped it onto my forearm and I was ready to go. What I love most about it is you can just take your normal swing, for the most part. There are three "clicks" that you are to listen for; when you finish your back swing, at the bottom or at contact, and when you finish your follow through. I love this because my biggest issue is rushing and not finishing the back swing, which leads to other problems. This slows me down on the range and makes me get all the way back and really accentuate finishing the back swing. Honestly it makes you pause a little long at the top of the swing, but I like that as a solid reminder to get back. Overall this is a great swing trainer. If you need help finishing the back swing and working a little bit on tempo, this could be a good help for you. Sorry I'll be uploading pictures tomorrow. I'm happy to answer any questions you guys have, I just don't know what else to say about this product. It's awesome and very simple to use.
  13. Congrats guys! Can't wait to hear what you guys think!
  14. I have mine pretty flat at 67*. I don't know how odd that is and it's not as different as your 78*. But what matters is that you make putts! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  15. I just got mine two days ago and haven't been to the course yet to try it out. They changed the weighting or COG quite a bit depending on which degree you get. I don't know if I'm good enough to tell the difference on ball flight but it sounds like a good idea. I'm anxious to get to the course and try them out though. 16. Chris Utah 4.3 I have a 915h 21* with the rogue black shaft. It's a stiff but it's been tipped to match my frequency. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  17. Too bad you couldn't get onto the north course. The holes by the clubhouse and around the water are pretty fun. The south course does have more holes around the canal which are fun. My yardages are so much different there that even a straight forward course gives me trouble. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  18. Did I miss the periscope? I need something to watch during class....

  20. http://www.mygolfspy.com/club-conex-uni-fit/ I think this is about as close as it gets.
  21. We actually stay in the same place as you and play most of our rounds at Terra Lago. I love the North course there. The South course seems to be not as well taken care of and a couple of the holes piss me off, so i prefer the North course. I'm pretty sure Shadow Ridge is the one we played, but it was a few years ago. I think that is the one we'd play again. I've been told by multiple people to play the mountain course so maybe we'll head out there. I just looked up Indian Canyons too looks fun and hard to beat for the price. There are just so many courses there I don't know where to start!
  22. I second Barbajo and say Wolf Creek is a must play along with Coyote Springs which is about 45 minutes from Mesquite. I don't know about stay and play deals in Vegas but I know Mesquite has some. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  23. I'm headed to Palm Spring/Indio area for a few days this week. Any suggestions on courses to play? Hidden gems? Hopefully we can get out to PGA West and possibly the Marriott course, but any others that are a must play?
  24. It must be a generation thing because l I think the Titleist woods are definitely the better looking ones out now (which explains why more and more are making their way into my bag...). But to each his own I suppose. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  25. Yeah I can't even imagine that. Just drives home the fact of how good the tour players really are. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy mobile app
