I have used The Grint for a few years now and generally like it. I had a GHIN with my club already and I added that, so now I dont pay my club that fee, which is about the cost of the Grint app. I'm struggling with some accuracy issues. Some distances are not lining up. I have my ball at the 150 marker on the course and the app tells me 140-143. That's significant at that range. Visually, I like it. I also like the stats. I play a lot of golf on my own, because my schedule is very flexible, so having a buddy with the app to attest my rounds is very helpful. I'm not good enough or have a desire to be embarrassed in a tourney by fudging my numbers. As any issue with a phone, you need a connection. To allow the GPS to settle in, takes a little bit so a range finder would be a bit quicker I assume. For the price, its good. But I've been considering a rangefinder for accuracy concerns.
