  1. Congratulations my friend! That’s a slick setup! Hard not to see shots going in with it. In the bag Driver: Callaway Rogue Subzero 9.5 Stiff flex 3 wood: Callaway Rogue Subzero 15 degree Hybrids: 17 degree titleist 816 h2 Irons: Ben Hogan Ptx 22-46 degree (4-pw)stiff flex standard lie Wedges: Callaway Mac Daddy 4 50,54,58 degrees Putter: Odyssey EXO seven Gig’em Aggies!
  2. Been playing the original PTx release since they came out a few years ago. I’ve played well with them and not so well with them at times too but it was always a case of “indian not arrow” flaw. If they perform like the original release then they’ll be a winner. Not 100% sold on some of the aesthetic changes but those could grow on me just like other equipment has many times over. Just good to see Hogan turning out new gear. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. Strong set of irons. I was a Nike player till I got my new Hogans. Those will definitely do the job for you. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. 5. Polite pass lol. I ain’t looking forward to going against him for sure but I’ll be pulling for him hardcore in every other game, SEC SEC SEC! 7. Well finally got the first win of the year. Course played a bit longer than advertised after getting an inch or two of rain yesterday but still pulled out a 73 (+1) today to take home some crystal. Next one is our first 2 day major of the year, already looking forward to it! In the bag Driver: Callaway Rogue Subzero 9.5 Stiff flex 3 wood: Callaway Rogue Subzero 15 degree Hybrids: 17 degree titleist 816 h2 Irons: Ben Hogan Ptx 22-46 degree (4-pw)stiff flex standard lie Wedges: Callaway Mac Daddy 4 50,54,58 degrees Putter: Odyssey EXO seven Gig’em Aggies!
  8. 6 years. I had flashes before that but didn’t get hold of things till end of senior year in high school. It clicked for me once I got my driver under control and grew into my frame a bit more. Control came with size for me and that was my moment. In the bag Driver: Callaway Rogue Subzero 9.5 Stiff flex 3 wood: Callaway Rogue Subzero 15 degree Hybrids: 17 degree titleist 816 h2 Irons: Ben Hogan Ptx 22-46 degree (4-pw)stiff flex standard lie Wedges: Callaway Mac Daddy 4 50,54,58 degrees Putter: Odyssey EXO seven Gig’em Aggies!
  9. Some of the game improvement irons aren’t playable to me. Not all but some. You have these rockets on a stick that fly high and long but that’s not what I’m looking for in my iron game. You can’t control the ball with that kind of club as well as you can a smaller forging. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. I’ve always used a work bench some clamps and a towel. Like the first post mentioned as long as you support the club properly there shouldn’t be much if any risk of change or damage. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  11. I’m still using a set of Ben Hogan PTx irons from a forum test a few years back. Still love them and haven’t seen anything to change that. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  12. I switched to a lighter higher spinning shaft in my irons but that’s the farthest I plan on changing for the moment. I love the current heads I’m using so I don’t know that I’ll find anything more appealing. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  13. Under Armour all the way, but I still gotta have my Texas A&M hat. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  14. News to me, I thought they were a USA product... shows how much I know... In the bag Driver: Callaway Rogue Subzero 9.5 Stiff flex 3 wood: Callaway Rogue Subzero 15 degree Hybrids: 17 degree titleist 816 h2 Irons: Ben Hogan Ptx 22-46 degree (4-pw)stiff flex standard lie Wedges: Callaway Mac Daddy 4 50,54,58 degrees Putter: Odyssey EXO seven Gig’em Aggies!
  15. Bridgestone tour B XS. I’ve played Bridgestone balls for a while now and haven’t had any problems that I can recall. I’m not a big fan of titleist in general and their price doesn’t help so I veer away from them. My home course stocks Callaway which makes a good ball but doesn’t perform as well for me (probably just in my head though). TaylorMade and Srixon are almost nonexistent around my area for some reason unless you wanna buy recycle balls at walmart and I’m not a big fan of ordering balls when I can get them in person with cash. Bridgestone has been a good ball in general for me since a while back and I’m gonna stick with them for a while longer. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  16. Under armor Spieth 2, I love everything about them but make sure you try them on if you can or note that they fit right at a half size large. In the bag Driver: Callaway Rogue Subzero 9.5 Stiff flex 3 wood: Callaway Rogue Subzero 15 degree Hybrids: 17 degree titleist 816 h2 Irons: Ben Hogan Ptx 22-46 degree (4-pw)stiff flex standard lie Wedges: Callaway Mac Daddy 4 50,54,58 degrees Putter: Odyssey EXO seven Gig’em Aggies!
  17. came in today, getting started installing them tomorrow and pending weather I’ll give them a shot Friday. In the bag Driver: Callaway Rogue Subzero 9.5 Stiff flex 3 wood: Callaway Rogue Subzero 15 degree Hybrids: 17 degree titleist 816 h2 Irons: Ben Hogan Ptx 22-46 degree (4-pw)stiff flex standard lie Wedges: Callaway Mac Daddy 4 50,54,58 degrees Putter: Odyssey EXO seven Gig’em Aggies!
  18. I’ve certainly used the reviews to influence at least a few purchases. Off the top of my head I can name the shafts I’m using and I’ve used MyGolfSpy for plenty of choices in balls. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  19. They come in Tuesday with grips coming in around Thursday so I’m hoping to have them ready to go for the weekend. 35 degrees right now but should be almost 80 this weekend, another week in Texas weather... In the bag Driver: Callaway Rogue Subzero 9.5 Stiff flex 3 wood: Callaway Rogue Subzero 15 degree Hybrids: 17 degree titleist 816 h2 Irons: Ben Hogan Ptx 22-46 degree (4-pw)stiff flex standard lie Wedges: Callaway Mac Daddy 4 50,54,58 degrees Putter: Odyssey EXO seven Gig’em Aggies!
  20. Carry both pairs or wear one of each and you’ve got it figured out. In the bag Driver: Callaway Rogue Subzero 9.5 Stiff flex 3 wood: Callaway Rogue Subzero 15 degree Hybrids: 17 degree titleist 816 h2 Irons: Ben Hogan Ptx 22-46 degree (4-pw)stiff flex standard lie Wedges: Callaway Mac Daddy 4 50,54,58 degrees Putter: Odyssey EXO seven Gig’em Aggies!
  21. I got fitted for a Nipon Modus3 105 stiff in my irons the other day and was able to get them for $27 a shaft 4-wedge. Looking forward to putting them in and swing what the numbers say. As far as graphite goes Diamana has always been a personal favorite of mine. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  22. I know a poor fitting shoe and spikeless shoes both hurt my performance but I’ve played well in plenty of different brands and models of shoes that had a good fit so definitely could see there being a performance gain in the right circumstances. In the bag Driver: Callaway Rogue Subzero 9.5 Stiff flex 3 wood: Callaway Rogue Subzero 15 degree Hybrids: 17 degree titleist 816 h2 Irons: Ben Hogan Ptx 22-46 degree (4-pw)stiff flex standard lie Wedges: Callaway Mac Daddy 4 50,54,58 degrees Putter: Odyssey EXO seven Gig’em Aggies!
  23. Bridgestone my friend, dang good ball too in my opinion at least. In the bag Driver: Callaway Rogue Subzero 9.5 Stiff flex 3 wood: Callaway Rogue Subzero 15 degree Hybrids: 17 degree titleist 816 h2 Irons: Ben Hogan Ptx 22-46 degree (4-pw)stiff flex standard lie Wedges: Callaway Mac Daddy 4 50,54,58 degrees Putter: Odyssey EXO seven Gig’em Aggies!
  24. See as a Texas A&M Aggie I’m looking at Baylor bears so I feel you on this lol In the bag Driver: Callaway Rogue Subzero 9.5 Stiff flex 3 wood: Callaway Rogue Subzero 15 degree Hybrids: 17 degree titleist 816 h2 Irons: Ben Hogan Ptx 22-46 degree (4-pw)stiff flex standard lie Wedges: Callaway Mac Daddy 4 50,54,58 degrees Putter: Odyssey EXO seven Gig’em Aggies!
  25. I just don’t see a lot of promise in this, and believe me I hope I’m wrong like plenty of times before. I can miss as many putts with a hickory shafted putter as I do steel shafted one and it’s entirely the Indian over the arrow but maybe I’m that fella this new tech works for... when the price falls a tad...
