  2. Jay, Chicago 113 driver ss Titleist Pro V1x I played a dozen of MTB Snell balls about 2-3 years ago...but the only time I've played them since was when I found a ball here or there. Really enjoyed the dozen that I had

  4. Jay, Illinois Secondhand Zero Restriction Gore-Tex set I've played entire 4+ hour rounds in consistent rain and dozens of rounds where torrential downpours came in and wiped the course out for the rest of the day. 100 rounds per year in the Midwest will present plenty of opportunities for heavy precipitation
  5. Jay, Illinois Cleveland RTX CB 50/54/58 Strengths - chipping, maybe. Weaknesses - full wedge shots from 90+ yards. Inconsistent spin on short shots 5

  7. Really appreciate it. Most of our interviews so far have been with professional golfers...although today we did an interview with a golf journalist which provided some different conversation. Hopefully we can provide more content on MGS, club testing and other similar topics in the future
  8. Part two is available at https://sub70.podbean.com/e/episode-7-shaun-micheel-part-2/
  9. This is a must listen for any golfer. The episode is the first part of our interview with Shaun Micheel. Shaun is the winner of the 2003 PGA Championship and has nearly 400 PGA Tour starts. He is currently playing on the Web.com Tour and will also transition to the Champions Tour next year. This part of the conversation goes over his upbringing in Memphis, his college and early professional days, and his eventual PGA Championship victory at Oak Hill. It's a great, honest talk about Shaun's wild and unique path to becoming a professional golfer and major champion. Part two will be released next week. https://sub70.podbean.com/e/episode-6-shaun-micheel-part-1/
  10. I think you just have to consider that there are tons of different audiences out there. Some guys don't mind reading 1000+ word reviews because they're really interested in the equipment, technology, development process, testing, etc. The large majority of people definitely just want to know what is better than what. In a product testing thread I think people will definitely appreciate a more thorough review.
  11. Hey everyone thanks for listening and providing your comments. That was my first ever podcast interview and I pretty much cringed through the entire thing when I heard it afterward. Ugh. The combination of hearing your own voice and being your own worst critic is a deadly one. We'll have a ton more podcast episodes coming soon and the guests are great. Our next episodes are with Shaun Micheel and are absolutely amazing considering his story as a professional golfer. Anyway, feel free to throw any other feedback or critiques on here. Thanks again.
  12. Sub 70. Already have podcast interviews with Mark Calcavecchia, Bobby Clampett, Adam Beach (MGS) and Shaun Micheel. Interviews are scheduled with Curtis Strange, Ken Green and several others.
  13. Hey everyone just wanted to share a podcast interview with Adam Beach, the creator of MGS. We talked about Adam's history in the golf industry, the development of MGS, plans for the future of MGS, and discussed other aspects of the golf industry. https://sub70.podbean.com/e/episode-5-adam-beachmygolfspy/ just a quick edit...this is also available on iTunes, Stitcher and a few other sources.
  14. Both are more complicated than Yahoo as far as scoring goes...but Golf Channel somewhat simpler compared to the PGA Tour Avis game. I've been in a ~20 person money league for a few years and we moved over to Golf Channel

  17. If not, there may be other ways to cut down on the work required. Maybe a designated person from each group simply posts who won their group and what the score was each week/segment. If necessary it could be verified by screenshots or other people in the group. I mean do the people that came in 50th for a week really need to know? Every now and there could be an overall update or something but you really only need to know who won the week/segment/overall. There could be random updates on the overall standings if necessary.
  18. Definitely much appreciated. Already looking forward to defending my title next season
