  1. Praise the lord! ping PP58 midsize putter grips were finally in stock somewhere! Grabbed two!
  2. Oh yeah I hated the stock grip. Tried 3 different grips before selling it.
  3. Also to note I thought the Scotty 5.5 was going to be my long term putter. Bought it last year and sold it within a month. The balance of the putter just felt off for me
  4. First thing would be to check your aim. Good chance you are aimed left of your target line. Your body could be set up left of your target. Or your body could be square and your face aligned closed. Just like full swing, you'd need to know your swing path and face angle as well. You could be pulling the ball with a square face and out to in path, or you could be pulling the ball with a neutral path and a closed face at impact. Those are your starting points. Once you figure out the reason you are pulling ball, then you play with the variables you mentioned (to hand, length, weight, alignment markings) to fix the problem.
  5. His contract with Workday expires in early April and they are not renewing it
  6. Haha yup. I don’t even know what the going rate is these days but whatever it is I can assure you it’s too much. $50 with a cart seems fair. That’s about what i pay for my local muni up here (and enjoy the muni so much more)
  7. Yup. It’s absolutely incredible and so easy to get lost in the world they’ve created This and Gran Turismo 7 will be occupying my gaming time for the foreseeable future I have a Series X as well and use that for Game Pass Ultimate ps5 jlukes7 xsx jlukes
  8. I still can’t believe he’s only 23. Feel like he’s been around for a decade
  9. Torrey Pines being on that list doesn't surprised me either. There are a few holes on Torrey that have a glimpse of the ocean. Other than that, the course is your typical parklands course. With very few memorable holes. I mean they just played the US Open there and I struggle to remember details of any particular hole. Heck the most memorable things about Torrey is the pond on 18, which is an absolute abomination of a man made hazard. It is one of the most unnatural hazards you will every see on a tour-level golf course. Here is a good article on why Torrey Pines is a poorly designed course https://golfweek.usatoday.com/lists/u-s-open-torrey-pines-beautiful-course-design-could-be-better/
  10. Honestly don't waste your money. It is supremely unspectacular. I played it in 2015 and was absolutely shocked that is a regular tour stop. It is a Florida resort/community course through and through. The Bear trap is fun for no other reason then you see PGA Tour players playing it and it is called The Bear Trap. The other 15 holes are some of the most forgettable golf holes I have every played - and they are all lined with copy and paste houses.
  11. Average golfers don’t deliver the DYNAMIC LOFT needed because they strike the ball with no or even backward shaft lean. So playing stronger lofts actually help they deliver a more effective DYNAMIC LOFT Static loft is a fitting tool in the club fitting world; it is a means to get to a desired dynamic loft to produce ideal flight and yardage gaps.
  12. Bingo. Phil would not be "Lefty" without the PGA Tour. His brand was built on the back of Tiger Woods, Fred Couples, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and all of the other bigger names that came before him or played alongside him. Phil is selfish, brash, and egotistical. I hope the media keeps calling him out and exposing him rather than protecting his phony "Lefty" persona they help build up over the years
  13. The Saudi league is shaping to be a like a spinoff wrestling organization that is comprised of a bunch of washed up wrestlers.
  14. I think we are getting close to the point where Phil costs himself the potential Ryder Cup captaincy at Bethpage
  15. I hate individual slots. It’s really all about personal preference. Give me 4 or 5 big slots and a dedicated putter slot all day
  16. Don’t know, but I now have a $400 Amazon gift card from work burning a hole in my pocket
  17. Leveraging a hostile regime bereft of any semblance of human rights seems like a great idea. I am going to start banging strippers and prostitutes and tell my wife it is simply to help make her a better wife. Phil is an ******* and I am glad he is finally showing his true colors
  18. The sheer amount of infrastructure needed to host a Tour-level event is ludicrous. Parking, player amenities, fan amenities, production equipment, cabling, grand stands, site logistics. Then throw in player travel, the logistics to move tv equipment from one event to the next. There are a lot of reasons, but logistics is one of the main reasons
  19. Lofts mean nothing only yardage gaps matter. Remember having to constantly explain this to NiftyNiblick back in the day
  20. It doesn't even have to do with with exposure - you have to taken into account affiliations as well. Several sponsors have their logos removed from players clothing/bags when they are playing in Saudi events. Major companies/brands do not permit doing marketing or having business ventures in specific countries.
  21. Hadn’t swung a club in over two months before going to the range yesterday. Played this morning on a soggy course with 15 -20mph winds Shot my best round in 5 years. Greens were bumpy and slow and still carded 3 birdies and lipped out 4 other birdies including a 6 footer on 18. Driver was on fire and my irons and wedge game were probably the best I’ve ever had
  22. Big name car companies claim they have the best car big name phone companies claim they have the best cameras and fastest phones big name fast food companies claim they have the best French fries big name shoe companies claim they have the best shoes big faucet companies claim they have the best faucets big name tool companies claim they have the best tools big name shirt companies claim they have the best shirts big name lawn mower companies claim they have the best lawn mowers are you sensing a pattern here? it’s called marketing and, believe it or not, it is not unique to the golf industry
