  1. If I ever play BD I think I'm just gonna skip #12
  2. Well doubling down on not touching the sand is an effort to save his job at BD. But in the overhead shot you can clearly see the color of the sand change from light to darker where he brushed it and then a later close up clearly shows the brush marks as well. As a caddie at the resort, maybe this is a regular practice for him when he's caddying for guests (it shouldn't be) and he just lost situational awareness for a moment. A shame for everyone involved.
  3. I use the MG Elite for a good part of the year here in the Houston area. Oddly, when I lived in CA I tried that glove and hated it. In the drier conditions in CA that glove would tear quickly, well before I would consider it worn out. But in the Houston area, with the humidity, I find that glove becomes saturated and I'll want to change it out before it tears. And it doesn't become saturated any faster than a higher priced glove so in that regard it becomes a good value. I buy about 20 at a time.
  4. I've been a member over there since 2016 (under a different nom de plume). Agree on the migration issue - its been a disaster. But as far as the BST is concerned (and I've only done 2 transactions and was the buyer both times) it has completely fallen off a cliff because when they made the migration they lost the feedback system. So between that and the pay to play scheme they have going over there its become a completely untrustworthy place to do business. They also have one forum sponsor who's business practices and customer service are some of the worst around judging from the horror stories posted in the DoND sub forum. Yet the mgmt there doesn't seem to care they have a forum sponsor who is basically abusing their membership. And lastly - and this is the part that p*sses me off the most - the mods there have gotten a hair trigger there using the "jail" feature in the vanilla forum software (yes I know they are migrating back to their previous platform) which is a sort of soft ban where a member can only reply to topics but not start new ones. And they are doing it for things I wouldn't even consider offenses. And not just newbies either, but some long time forum members who generally know how to behave themselves. But we all find ourselves in disagreements at times with others but its created an atmosphere where you kind of feel like you're walking on eggshells. That said I'll continue to be a member there. There are some incredibly knowledgable folks there in all areas and some genuinely good debate does take place at times. But with the switch back to the previous forum software I hope they also incorporate some needed administrative changes as well.
  5. I have both a Windy City and Bucktown. For the price you really can't go wrong. Personally I really like the grip on these models - its one of the best things about them IMO. The size and shape fits me well and helps keep hands quiet. However, the entire line is counterbalanced. If you're not into that then you probably aren't going to like them. Myself, I have a love/hate relationship w/counterbalanced putters. Currently in a hate stage so both of them are sidelined for now. If you've never tried a counterbalanced putter AND distance control on longer putts is a problem for you then you might consider trying one. I find that to be one of the best things about countebalancing for me in that it helps greatly on longer and lag putts. When I start to struggle w/counterbalance its when I start getting closer to the hole.
  6. In all seriousness, your website, such as it is, is a joke. Virtually nothing can be learned about your product there.
  7. A subjective opinion needn't be absolute. Saying Miura irons are better than 90% of all other irons is no more or less subjective than saying they are the best. Either way, whether you or I agree w/the OP I'm sure the marketing dept. at Miura is delighted.
  8. You argue against someone's subjective opinion by offering two of your own. And as far as Tennessee whiskey goes, George Dickel is far superior to Jack Daniels, IMO.
  9. I shouldn't have but just couldn't help myself. A new, NEW set of WS Fi5's. To this day the best set of irons I've ever owned. Pretty jazzed.
  10. The power is within you to make that any position you occupy. Don't hold back.
  11. Never use a broken tee on the course. On the range is fine. Always mark my ball with a quarter oriented so the head points at the hole. Also never talk to a ball on the green. In the air is Ok.
  12. They used my silhouette in that GolfStuds logo. I'm the Jerry West of my sport.
  13. Just ordered the Wilson Staff PMP wedges in 50/54/58 to have in reserve until my previous generation FG Tour wedges wear out. The 54 and 58 will have the Tour Grind sole that my current ones have. These wedges are the most versatile I've had since the old circa 2008 Cleveland DSG wedges. The Tour Grind sole is a really nice feature. On the heads other than the graphics change and some minor bounce tweaking I don't see a lot of difference between teh PMP's and the FGTours I currently have. I think the biggest change will be the switch from the TT wedge flex shaft to the KBS Hi-rev wedge shaft.
  14. Don't let Bob Renegar find out you invested in that KZG junk!
  15. If I listed everything I bought in the last two weeks on here ya'all would laugh!
  16. I've gone back to the dark side. I took a set of irons to my local (well 40 mile drive local anyway) Golfsmith for a regripping. While I was waiting I went to a hitting bay and picked up a TM PSi 6 iron and started hitting it. The whole time I'm going "man these are solid." They feel "meaty" when you hit them if that makes any sense. So I'm browsing around and go to the trade in section and there they are - a set that looked like a demo set yet they had Lamkin mid size grips on them. And I brought a set of irons in for just that purpose, to go up to mid size grips. Then the shafts - KBS Tour C-Taper 105's. That's the shaft I probably would have chosen. They looked like they had never been hit. 4-AW set and they were marked over $200 below what a new set is off the rack. I couldn't help myself. Had a brief range session w/them today and very impressed. Hell I can even elevate the 4 iron to the point I'm thinking of taking the 4H out of the bag, at least for this weekend. Also last weekend picked up a Titleist 915F in my never ending quest to kick the original Cally X-Hot 3W out of the bag. Initial results are promising. Not sure if I'm ready to take it on the course this weekend though. We'll see.
