Hmm $1200 for most of us goes a long way. I payed probably $600 for my entire set of clubs maybe less. That said for fun this last week I built 2 sets of clubs online in a shopping cart one no limit one had to be under $200. The no limit ended up being like $1600 with upgraded shafts etc. i actually had more fun with the under $200 had a Taylormade 580xd an Titleist 4wood set of Wilson Blades that were just awesome but would probably be extremely difficult to hit[emoji848]. All said $1200 if you can find irons for a good price goes a long way. My bag would be mixed for sure though. Probably Callaway or TM for the woods and I might save up for a spider putter or Scotty and cut some corners other places with used stuff. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

Well I took a shot on a callaway Great Big Bertha(2015/2016) Driver got it brand new for $120. Super excited to get out to the range and course once it dries out here in Missouri. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

I've been thinking about getting an R7 driver since it has the smaller cc head just as an experiment. I found one on callawaypreowned for like $30. Hmm[emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

Played 9 this morning....well played my be a strong word. First round of the year here in Missouri is always a rough one. But ended with a great par that was almost a birdie so all is well that ends well. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

That sucks just from a "what he has done for the history of the game" but I don't want him out there if he isn't healthy. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

I had been reading the yearly club reviews for a bit and decided to jump in on one of the member reviews I stumbled onto by accident. Once I signed up though I spent an hour reading through different topics before I actually remembered I was going to sign up for a review. So while my intentions at first started as selfish in one way my unknown desire to be a part of a community that speaks of nothing but golf took over. Needless to say the great community kept me here once the signup was complete! Long live MGS! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

I got out this past weekend thanks to weather in the 60's, but very wet here in Missouri. Typical January round thanks to winter a couple of good holes and a bunch of bad holes. Played a par 3 by me because of time restraints with lots of water so mistakes are magnified. Needless to say +19 for the round but I was playing in January so no complaints here[emoji848] well except the pars I missed and the lost balls Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

Outside of the sub thread of the SLDR C(would be curious to test) I'd like to see a test with the last 3-5 drivers from a specific company 910vs913vs915vs917 or something like that. And not just woods irons as well. I echo the putter talk as I'm not dropping the money for some of these one off companies or even a scotty(unless used and cheaper) my putter cost me under $100 how does it compare to that Scotty or Lamb putter. I'm just all for testing in general I may be a bit addicted to reading reviews and watching YouTube reviews[emoji848] at least my wife thinks I am. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

50% of the courses around me don't have ranges. Plenty of stretching starting when I wake up till I tee off. Putting chipping and just some swings usually get me loose enough. I have a back that sometimes just never gets warm so those rounds get the once it is warm then I pay attention to my score! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy mobile app
