  1. Thanks you too - I cant wait for mother nature to finally let the season begin. Cheers
  2. On muddy days, I think I will be wearing another pair.
  3. I just picked up the G/Fore Gallivanters and they are gorgeous. I think what’s even better is how comfy they are. Been wearing them around the house all day and the cushioning in the insole, although it feels weird, it’s super comfortable. It also has great looking traction so it should perform as well as it looks, hopefully. Just wanted to share my first impressions. cheers.
  4. When I was at the launch monitor the only data I was tracking was the carry and total distance. I think I will have to head back and check out those numbers. thanks.
  5. Thanks - my "old irons" were Srixon Z585 that I had for a year but couldn't hit. It's good to know that the launch monitor probably has receptive greens built in. For my yardages, I didn't write down ball speed but I was getting 7i - 163 carry and total; 8i - 153 carry 155 total; 9i - 138 c 139 t; PW - 121 c 122 t. I guess I will really find out when the club opens up and I can get on the course. Thanks for the info.
  6. I just switched to new Irons and was looking to try and figure out my distances relative to my previous irons. I used the Arccos Caddie last year so I have a good idea what I hit for total yards with my old irons. I took the new irons to the launch monitor to try and get my average carry and total yards for my new irons. For my 7-PW I had virtually no difference between the carry and total yardage. Is this a good thing? Should I be hoping for a bit of roll on my 7 or 8? For my 9 or PW I can see that I want it to stop - am I reading too much into this and need to just use the information and make an informed decision when I take my shot. Thanks for any feedback
  7. Thanks. I ended up getting the DG Shafts on the 2019 P790's I picked up and the ball flight on the sim seemed to fit for me. Now if the snow would just leave so we could get on the course! Cheers
  8. I used them for a full season last year. The biggest benefits are knowing what your yardages are and tracking your shots. The new app makes recommendations based on your shots and suggestions on what to work at. For the negatives, you did have to manipulate the data at the end but it really wasn’t that big of a deal. Also for the shot distances, you can go in after and exclude any shots where you hit half shots or miss-hits so they don’t get included in your average and club recommendations. I think after a while the information is redundant though. You eventually should learn or figure out where you are missing, what your yardages are and what you need to work on. I still think it’s a great system compared to some of the other free apps I’ve used and if you can get the sensors cheap or get second gen ones that don’t require a paid membership they are a great tool. I saw someone was going to send you some sensors. I think you should give them a try. cheers.
  9. I am trying to find information about the DG S300 VSS pro shafts. I am trying to figure out the ball flight and how it would differ from the regular DG S300 shafts and how they would compare to Project X 6.0. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers
  10. Like anything everyone’s experience is different. I’m a 13 handicap and my driver has way too much spin which isn’t helped by these balls. The key is finding something that works for your game in a price you’re comfortable with.
  11. The new line is stunning. I got fitted for the 200's earlier but didn't pull the trigger. Kind of glad I didn't because I definitely like the new line better. May try to incorporate the 300's in my higher irons to add some more forgiveness.
  12. I have a pair of Under Amour and a pair of Adidas that have become my main go to but I have 3 other pairs of golf shoes that i had in the rotation
