I've found it ebbs and flows. I look forward to league every week and sometimes I'll practice beforehand, but I've been dealing with fatigue issues for a few years and it just sucks the life out of me. I can feel it when I wake up if it's going to be a good round or not. I had one day last season where I felt great when I woke up and shot a personal best 85, beating my previous PB by 6. Got fit for a set of Mizuno JPX 921 Hot Metals 5-PW with the ESX F3. Moving out of a set of TM Rsi 1. Apparently Mizuno only has a 3-4 week wait time compared to months for some of the other OEMs, but I still hate waiting.

I tried the Fuse in a pair of Oakley's and got 2 pairs and my money back because the fit was not good. Went and bought direct from Oakley and am much happier.

Played my 3rd round this week and it was by far my best (which isn't saying much) still not used to greens that roll this fast. I only hit a handful of bad shots but got to play with some good company so it was good. 98 today and easily could have been 90 or sub 90. 3 putt bogeys are round killers. In between jobs and having a week of Funemployment, I just wish the weather was more traditional April weather here in MD. Played the last 2 days and it's bad. Putted well Tuesday and played today on greens that were MUCH quicker and I'm just not used to it. 18 holds later every putt either went 10 feet by or 5 feet short. *humble brag warning* So we came to the final week of our Wednesday night league before the playoffs start this past Wednesday. My partner is in Scotland for 2 weeks and the sub he had for this week did not show. Our league is a 3 point max system and I wound up earning a paltry .5 point because I came back from 2 down with 2 to play to tie my match (shot a 44 overall and I'm a 21 right now). This put us into a tie for the last spot in the playoffs and a 9 hole playoff was required to determine a winner. Subs aren't allowed and my partner is still in Scotland so I manned up and never trailed today. The best part of my game was the mallet. I didn't do anything tee to green necessarily great but it wasn't a disaster either. Won my singles match 4 and 3 and locked the team point up at 2 and 1. played one of my best rounds of the year and still had a monster number on one of the holes (par 5 where 2 tee shots went wayward) and still almost broke 80s(have not done this yet). Started off par par double +5. Switched to a claw type grip on the putter and my speed on putts has never been better. It was only 1 day on greens in great shape but so far i'm a fan. Will be giving it another go tonight on greens that are not as nice and definitely slower.

Picked up a pair of Nike LC4 shoes in the Volt color via a trade. Couldn't find them locally unfortunately.

I dont know how i'd go back to less than a 14 way full divider bag.

Its amazing how we can play the same exact game and one day it just feels easy and the next not 1 single thing goes well. put up a mondo 54 last night. doesn't help when you hit 3 off the tee 4 of your first 5 holes, even worse when you hit 5 off the tee. Driver struggles continued, but have now changed shape to a low pull hook so after a few holes of nonsense I went 4i off the tee. Did manage to par both par 3s, so at least i've got that going for me. This was also coming off less than 4 hours sleep the night before so I'm just going to burn it from my memory and really try to pull something great outta the sky this weekend, as I get to play one of the nicer private clubs in the area this weekend.

Had I not been a total dummy on the last hole, I would have broken 80 for the first time. That and if I 3 putted a few less times (gir 3 putt bogeys are sickening and I had at least 3 of them) but the 9 I put up on the 18th didn't help either and I rounded out with a 91. Hit it well last night 44 for 9 with 4, yes count them 4 3jacks. not a bad total considering I started the night of +5 after 2 holes (0 of them penalty strokes, and one of those holes was 1 putt... so yeahhhh) even threw a bird in there on a very reachable par 5 that I just keep missing a little to the right (nothing but trees to the left) but i'm getting closer each week. I just wish I could work any consistency in. last 4 weeks have been 44 52 54 45

I was the same way, but the apple watch is light enough and small enough that it doesn't really bother me at all.

bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad. I thought it was bad 2 weeks ago, but last night felt worse. I had 0 feel for my swing and every time I set up to the ball I could not get comfortable. I felt too close, too far, too upright, too knees bent. then i started ramming putts and lipped out 2 would be pars. Hopefully I get out this Saturday (supposed to rain all day, maybe) and avenge this sorry display. This was the exact same 9 holes that I played so well last week. I did learn that K-sigs can go just as far when duffed or pushed as everything else.

I had a krank 3 wood and the face was definitely hot hot hot (tracked my longest shot with it at 260 via arccos). For some reason though, I lost all feel for it. Definitely a rocket launcher though, be interested to see the report on the drivers.

Well I kinda did that yesterday. I had 45 for 9 holes, which is better than my current handicap of 21.5. How we got there, is an adventure. Started off Par, Par and then proceeded to go triple, Par,Triple, bogey, bogey, bogey, par. 2 of those pars were good enough to earn me skins so there was that, but the lesson of the night is KEEP THE DAMN BALL IN PLAY. The 2 triples had me hitting 3 from the tee (flied one right OB, topped one into a forced carry water hazard). I hit a couple shots that I missed right that had they been on target would have set me up for an eagle and birdie putt (made par on both) but such is life.
