  1. Yeah... I'm slowly learning what a putter ho is... not quite there, but while in the hospital waiting for my wife to go into labor I bought two putters... because why not right?

Oh... and I bought a set of TaylorMade Rsi 2 irons... though Dave has me a bit jealous of his new Nike irons (there are some GREAT irons out there this year)

  2. Had a great discussion with a golf course owner in Nevada about discount golf and his views that it's killing the industry.

I didn't have the hard to tell him that I don't pay full price for rounds and if a place doesn't offer discounts I don't normally play there unless it's a MUST PLAY track (I got into golf after the start of the discount wars, so it's what I expect)

Now I just need to show this article to my wife so she can understand that $80 is considered bargain golf

  3. I mix it up - some rounds no drinking, some rounds more than I should, some just one - some with a cigar, some with both a cigar and a drink.

I've found it just depends on my round for that day and who I'm playing with.

Some rounds are purely social with friends - those tend to result in more drinks.

I'm ok with one drink any round, more than that requires me not caring as much about the round.

Smoking a cigar can really mess up my game, but if I'm just out for a social round, it's not so bad.

  4. good stuff - it's important to be respectful of others on the course....

that said - I've been on an empty course with my buddy and we've put music up on our iphones during our round - I actually really enjoyed it, and it helped me focus a bit.

At my recent Cobra Puma fitting, they were bumping music the entire time, and it honestly helped put me at ease and added some atmosphere to things.

I'm going to guess the biggest problem with music on the course is finding something everyone can agree on!

But yeah, if I was out for a normal round by myself, and someone else was blaring their music, I'd be irritated - that, or I'd turn on my own tunes on my iphone and blast back at them.

I LOVE the idea of the personal golf cart with stereo and evening tournament with beers and music - I could get into that.

  5. Wow... solid review, and shocking at the same time.

Mostly shocking because I've had a Little One in my lineup for a while now, I had taken it out twice to begin a review, but each time I felt I wasn't being subjective enough, or maybe I was missing the point because I really believed it was going to be a magical training aid and make me feel like I could make more solid contact with ease, and each time I pulled it out, I didn't see improvement at all.

Totally agree, I hit the Little One with ease, while still struggled with my own clubs all the same as before.

Stoked that you took the time to follow through and really test this guy out.

Thanks for sharing your results and verifying what I'd felt like I was seeing but couldn't admit to being reality.
