I found playing the same course gets me into bad habits. Not going for it, basically settling for bogey golf. When I'm on other courses, I trust my equipment instead of my gut. I was able to get out on the grass yesterday and I did 2 buckets and was tinkering with my loft settings on my driver. I've been using 10.5U on my Mizuno JPX EZ for over a year now. I read that slower swing speeds need higher loft. Mixed results. So I'm switching back to normal for my weekly match with my buddy! I was having a terrible round the other day, and on 17, which is called "the round wrecker" it's a long par 5 with a creek & a pond and an elevated green. I hooked my drive towards the clubhouse..... it hit a tree, (the only thing that saved the clubhouse) I had to punch next shot back onto the fairway. So I'm laying 2 almost to where my drives go. I played in a best ball tournament about 5 years ago with my brother in law and the group that I was in was blaring music...... drove me nuts and I played terrible. Last season my buddy and I were playing our normal Sunday game when we were allowed to play through from some guys in early twenties blaring music. Again played like crap trying to play through.
