  1. Maybe a stupid question. Is the Vero more spin off the tee or around the greens? Sent from my SM-G965U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  2. Anyone know much about this new 4CE grafted cover. I have played them. Seem to stop pretty good. I'm not up to date on tech knowledge. Sent from my SM-G965U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  3. I love bowling, especially in the winter months. However, I'd rather be somewhere else. Sent from my SM-G965U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  4. Don't I feel dumb. Thanks. Sent from my SM-G965U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  5. So, I'm reading the original 13 rules of golf. Accompanying are the current rules. One current rule, says you must stand outside the teeing ground when playing a ball within it. Anyone explain what I'm missing? Sent from my SM-G965U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  6. I myself would like to start a YouTube channel, but havent found the time. It would strictly be for entertainment purposes as it would all mid to high handicappers. Sent from my SM-G965U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  7. So I'm all set to buy the Bushnell Tour v5 Shift ($400). Then MGS says the Most Wanted finder is the Bushnell Pro EX ($500). The difference between the 2, the Pro can adjust for temputure and altitude. I'd like my fellow spies opinions. Is it worth the extra $100 for temp and altitude? 8. Black Clover are my favorite. New Era makes a few nice ones. Disregard the Bengaks hat on the left. Sent from my SM-G965U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  9. Black Clover hands down. Comfortable, can get in almost any color combo to match you attire. Only con I've had is when ordering directly from them. Had to wait a bit. I've purchased many from Ebay. Sent from my SM-G965U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  10. I know we talked about the cost of equipment to manufacture and to purchase and the difference in between, but what about apparel. You can purchase polos from the likes of Ben Hogan and PGA Tour for $15 to $20. Then you have Travis Mathew, Donald Ross, Peter Millar, Greg Norman, William Murray that cost $60 to $90. Are we really paying $45 to $70 extra for just a name. And is it worth it. Sent from my SM-G965U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  11. I have not yet, but I will as soon as I can. Its rained alot here lately. Sent from my SM-G965U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  12. I understand where you're going here. I have a friend who is not weak, but smaller than the rest of us. He may not be as "strong" as the rest of us, but he can and will occasionally hit the ball farther than us. And the reason I believe is his technique is slightly better than ours sometimes. 13. I just bought 4 dozen ChromeSoft (personalized) and after the results of the test, I dont think I'm going to use them. I think I might go with the Oncore Elixir that I tried and liked. Sent from my SM-G965U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  14. Royal New Kent in New Kent, Virginia just east of Richmond. Sent from my SM-G965U using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  15. On this thread, I'm a first time writer, long time reader. Finally, have a good story to tell. Played a round a few weeks ago on nice Jack Nicklaus design called Aston Oaks. By all means I'm a high handicapper but I have my days. Anyways, there's an hour frost delay and we are asked to play the back nine 1st. Well, I shot a good for me 44. I'm riding high and my sometimes playing partners who like to gamble are not exciting I'm winning. So, we go to the front and holes 1, 2 and 3 I shoot a 9, 9 and 7. Yes, my friends a 25 in the first 3 holes. I did mange to score a 31 on the last 6 holes which is bogey golf, but I ended with a 100 and even money on the gambling. Still proud of my 44. It's not an easy course. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  16. This is not an answer to the question, but want to throw it in just in case some have never heard of them. One of the best hats out there (my opinion) is Black Clover. I, like other golfers like to match, and Black Clover has a lot of color and combinations. Plus, they're neutral and not affiliated with any golf brand (that I know of). 17. I'm going to eventually start my own channel on YouTube. Target audience will be high handicappers or better players who have wanted to laugh at someone, but didn't to be respectful. It is a gentleman's game. My point for the channel is to show people who aren't very good or people who want to start golfing but haven't for various reasons that golf can be fun. With or without alcohol. Hoping to start this year. Just need a working camera and some day learn how to edit. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  18. With all those weights in it, it's look like they are getting in line to be sued by PXG. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  19. As far as prizes go, for people like me and I'm sure a few others, they don't have to be brand new. Like say you had a used Callaway Big Bertha Fusion driver. I would love to win that and be more than happy. Just an idea. I'm sure the lab has a few old test clubs that could use a good home. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  20. Just picked up a nice set of used Callaway Apex MB's with Aerotech Steelfiber i70's in them. Are in fantastic shape. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  21. Last year I tested the Forward putter grip. It's on my old gamer. So, I bought another for my current putter. I really like it. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  22. I always loved that icon. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
  23. First I'm not an expert, but I hear if it flips straight ahead or behind you, it's a good thing. Second, I like it when my tee lands perfectly upside down. Has happened twice. Sent from my SM-G920V using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  24. Close only counts in horseshoes and handgrenades. Sadly, it was from 170 out. Sent from my SM-G920V using MyGolfSpy mobile app
