  1. Same as PMMookie I'm 6' 2 190 lbs. I spent about the last 10 months concentrating on flexibility with strength conditioning after. Now I have switched it around with the emphasis on strength conditioning first with stretching exercises after. I have 2 routines that I alternate with the addition of the following: 1. Jump rope everyday 2. Rotating side planks every other day. 3.   2. I started using an app for push ups. Zen challenge series. Not sure if anyone has heard of this app but they also do it for other exercises. Pretty good app. This is where I am at with the push ups.

  5. So we have 3 new moderators. 1. GolfSpy Stroker 2. GolfSpy MPR 3.GolfSpy CG2. I think this calls for some sort of forum initiation, rights of pasage so I thought let's start one here. First. Congrads. Second. Shall we proceed? It was a sunny Sunday morning, and GolfSpy Studque, GolfSpy MPR, and GolfSpy Stroker were beginning their preshot routines, visualizing their upcoming shot, when GolfSpy CG spoke over the clubhouse loudspeaker. “Would the gentleman on the ladies’ tee please back up to the men’s tee.” GolfSpy Stroker remained in his routine, seemingly unfazed by the interruption. A little louder: “Would the man on the women’s tee kindly back up to the men’s tee!” GolfSpy Studque raised up out of his stance, lowered his driver, and shouted, “Would the announcer in the clubhouse kindly shut up and let me play my second shot?”
  6. Congratulations to 2 great members. I can feel the energy and excitement that will come forth from this. And not to forget Studque ( and others behind the scenes) for their time and effort in going through the selection process.
  7. It may have been. I paired it and ii never got a message but I went into the app and it did sync. Success.
  8. So I started fooling around with the Shotscope last night and tried to sync to the phone but the phone kept on asking for a security code. Stated 0000 or 1234 usually works. But did not. Anyone else have issues with this (Before I call tech support)? Thx
  9. That's why I am left handed. Parents put me in when I was knee high to a grasshopper and I played left handed. Don't know why. But otherwise I am right handed in everything except that and golf.
  10. That's what I want to hear. I am also busy with cardio,stretching, and strengthening exercises. Even though, when I was testing the Ping i500's without a driver and hence moved up to the white tees, that is not where I want to stay. Is that my ego speaking?
  11. I'm getting depressed reading this thread.
  12. Did it.went out and bought a jump rope and am doing it on a daily basis as part of my routine. The first few days were basically hilarious attempts at trying to coordinate my hands with my feet. I'm into about day 5 and am doing about 13-20 jumps at a go. I found this video that I thought I'd share ( no,not of me)
  13. I don't do much yoga so I really cannot say on that but just think of static meaning stationary and dynamic - in motion
  14. Static stretching is where you stretch and hold it for a length of time , say 30 seconds. dynamic stretching is going back and forth to the stretch position ( ie like doing a push up). New studies have revealed that static stretching just before playing does more harm than good. Static stretching should be done a minimum of 2 hours before if need be prior to golfing
