  1. Years ago, our assistant pro was talking about the site. Now I visit it all the time to look at reviews and what others are saying. Feel like I get honest answers here instead of pushing products.
  2. MGS: I would love to see a test, if you took a current Pro V1 and use the robot machine to hit a few drives with a current driver. Get the numbers for that. A 2nd test with same head, but try to get as close to same specs shaft, but have the shaft be a 42 or 43 inches instead of the 46. I would like to see what the drop in distance if there is anything. Just outside the box thinking. Instead of changing all these golf balls, maybe a simpler solution was limit driver shaft length. Thanks! Matt
  3. I tee up everything. For irons and wedges, just enough to give a little gap between the ground. JUST in case I hit it a little thin.
  4. My set up is Sub 70 - 50 and 54 degree. Then Edel 58 degree.
  5. I play the See-More PRIVATE RESERVE PLATINUM M5X (P1210S).
  6. A few weeks ago, my son - 13, got new Taylor Made irons. He needed some wedges, purchased him a Vokey Wedge at PGA Superstore $197.95 after taxes. Later saw on here the post about Sub 70 wedges. I went on their site, bought him an Excellent condition wedge from them. I think it was $80. After receiving that from them, I went and got 2 Excellent conditioned wedges from them. I think the 3 wedges I bought from them total were $270. We both have been hitting them great. If we are suppose to change out wedges every year, I can justify replacing at $80-$100 instead of replacing at $197.95 each. After hitting the wedges and liking them, got some demo irons from them to test out. I talked to them about shafts, great people. Ended up getting a set of irons from them and so did my dad. Those irons are awesome and just about half the price of what I spent on the Taylor Made irons for son.
  7. Congrats guys. Hit them well. Look forward to the feed back.
  8. I would play the tees that gives you the best opportunity to make birdies. I go out looking to have fun, not get kicked in the groin over and over again to say I played X tees and did not enjoy it. I would rather be putting for birdies and pars than scrambling for bogeys and doubles.
