  1. Cobra F7 3 and 7 woods are certainly getting there!
  2. When is the next event that Scottie plays in and he doesn't win?
  3. How much difference in feel is there between colors? I can recall the white and black LINK being said to be firmer or softer than each other.
  4. Would love to hear all the testers thoughts on the shaft and how you feel it performs in the putter?
  5. Coming very soon the NoPuttsGiven Crew will be hosting Sam Hahn for a special edition of ASKMYGOLFSPY all centered around L.A.B. Golf. The cool part? You have the chance to take part and have your questions answered! If you have a question about L.A.B. Golf or their putters and anything else L.A.B. centric let us know in the comments below! Then stay tuned to the next episode of NPG and see if your question gets answered! Let's hear those questions!
  6. I can't wait to get started on my other irons. Just need to set aside a bit more time as they will take more time to do and will also get new grips.
  7. If it was a thing it wouldn't be till next season. This season is basically completed for our schedule. I will confirm I have not reached out to them though.
  8. Definitely golf tees. They are a pain to buy one at a time
  9. Lots! To be honest it is a little bit too long to list but basically most companies have gone in a more simple or traditional look as that has been a trend.
  10. Stix! Byrdie Golf Design and Robin Golf are a few that come to mind immediately!
  11. Lag putts I think are more about greens and just speed. I did find a bit of time getting to feel for lag putts with my Mezz but it came together pretty quick. They have a nice pop on the sweet spot and are a bit more dead left and right of center. Either way I just did a lot more practice and it ended up not being an issue.
  12. Finally! Been meaning to put these back together for some time now. Not likely going to play them as I put some older graphite reg flex shafts in them, but at least now they can be part of my meeting background!
  13. Every so often I boost this thread as we have new members with new ideas who want to get more involved in helping the forum grow. The focus group is a great first step! We are always on the lookout for members who want to get involved and help us grow in various ways that lean into either our own or their strengths. Want to take on a larger role or get more involved? Send me a PM and we can get you all setup!
  14. Where I live - Yes. Without question. However my situation is unique and the country I live in everything is expensive. I don't have much reference anymore to how much things are in the US and such, but I think there are various values for different courses. There are bound to be cheaper options, maybe conditions are as nice however it is all relative. Naturally prices of everything surrounding the maintenance and running of a course has gone up and they still need to make money in order to survive so if prices go up as well that makes sense.
  15. The world of premium golf shafts is extensive and complicated. As the emphasis on proper fittings in golf has grown, so has the arrival of more competitors. One such company is Autoflex. Who Is Autoflex? Established in 2009 in Korea, Autoflex now is available in more than 40 countries. They promote their Korea Hidden Technology made by Dumina Designs which includes their patented combination of high-quality carbon fiber and additional proprietary materials to create a lightweight shaft with less distortion. Autoflex bucks the concept of traditional flexes and goes with a system that is more based on driver clubhead speed with six different shafts to match a golfer's swing. Please welcome and congratulate our testers! @chisag @KC Golf @BallsLeon @Kenny B @ZMendle10 @Jean D @nvizble1 @Golfspy_CG2
  16. Coming off an impressive performance in the Best Driver of 2024 testing with MyGolfSpy, we had to get these drivers into the hands of our member testing community. The Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond took home second place in the overall standings, and the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke D managed third place, being awarded Best for Distance. Callaway is no stranger to performing well in Most Wanted testing, but this year's performance is especially impressive, considering a total of 37 drivers were part of the testing, the most ever in Most Wanted history. About the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Series: The second generation of Paradym added a new Ai-optimized face, which Callaway calls micro deflections, aiding downrange accuracy. The Carbon Chassis is also 15% lighter than the original, helping Callaway redistribute weight into other areas, thus making the series more forgiving. The Paradym Ai Smoke series is also the first in several generations not to include Jailbreak. There are three core models in the Paradym Ai Smoke family: Max, Max D, and Triple Diamond. Max is the standard model and offers the most adjustability with a sliding weight at the back and an adjustable hosel. Max D is a draw bias driver with maximum forgiveness. It lacks movable weights but is adjustable through the Callaway Optifit hosel. Triple Diamond is the low spinning option, featuring adjustable front and back weights for spin optimization. It also includes a smaller profile for those who prefer that in a driver head. Please welcome and congratulate our testers! @Berg Ryman - Ai Smoke Max @TylorJudd - Ai Smoke Triple Diamond @RickM71 - Ai Smoke Triple Diamond @EasyPutter - Ai Smoke Max D @JAYER38 - Ai Smoke Max D
  17. It's there - drop down and go the last week in the weekly scoring or standings.
  18. I know you mean Vokey not Volkey... But if it does say Volkey there may be other things at play I would exchange it at the store as you bought it there and they would be the warranty provider vs calling Titleist.
  19. Definition is a non stock photo that is given when an account is created. That's the basic of what we look for. Can be of whatever a user wants and related to. Whether that is of them, their golf bag, pet or whatever else. A profile photo helps show a bit of personality. It also for staff shows that a user has the ability to upload photos which is critical to reviews without us having to go through all their posts to see if they have done such.
  20. Last year we had testers from age 13 to in their 80s. In the end it's a combination of a lot and changes test to test. Handicap is usually a good or ish indicator of how long someone has been playing.
  21. Definitely not random. We spend a good few hours each week as staff going through the short lists and applications to find the testers for each opportunity. You are right about being involved and getting engaged! Hey! First welcome to the forum. Always a good thing to have newer members asking questions. Most above have already stated the general things and glad you had a chance to read the How To Be A Tester Guide - took me hours to write that and get all the details in - so you know the basics. There was also a section there about why it isn't random and why we pick testers for each. We have the whole staff (8 of us) go through the names and put notes on who we like for each test, who has tested what before and for those that have tested prior look at their grades and notes on previous performance (which helps dictate what type of review they will get in the future). We always try to work at least one new member into each opportunity (50% of testers this season have been new). We come to a mutual agreement from the whole group to avoid an bias towards certain members etc. That said we won't ever do random selection. Just not how it works and we are pretty clear about that. My own opinion is random selections are for contests and giveaways, which member testing is definitely not. It is a ton of fun, but also a crap ton of work and our expectations are sky high for all our testers. The other part is because the forum staff generally are the ones procuring these opportunities it is important for us to make sure we get the most reliable people people for these reviews. We have sold companies on providing these products (for free) to our community with the expectation of several things. Good, honest and thorough reviews, active thread participation, newsletter inclusion and socials inclusion, proper final reviews that are on time and a member recap article among other things. This is all part of the deal when they agree to provide products for us and we want to make sure we hold up our end of the bargain. For us to do random selections means we get random results. What we look and ask for from all that want to be testers is pretty basic. Doesn't take much to do and as you have read and a little effort and time then you can essentially guarantee a selection.
