  1. They often go into promotion folders on Gmail. I'll give it a look either way tho.
  2. If you go into your account settings there are newsletters settings. Check to see what you have there as we have nearly daily newsletters that go out.
  3. Golf balls are a whole other rabbit hole to go down. Yes it can help, but make sure it fits the rest of your game.
  4. Members need to meet a certain threshold for testing. At least we need to have some consistent level of engagement. There are only so many members that meet this. Sure we get 2k registrations but of that only say 2% have 10 or more posts. So the pool is much more limited then you may think. Bottom line we aren't just going to bring in tests to give away equipment for the sake of it. It needs to be balanced with the number of appropriate testers or potential testers we have. We have selected some 150 new testers in the last 18 months. Some have been great, some not. It's a risk we take, but ultimately would prefer to have more ppl who are more engaged. That and it's a lot to manage. This is not my full time job and something all the forum staff do on the side of your work and family life so managing more than 2 per week in peak season would be difficult.
  5. @GolfSpy SAM Happy Birthday! Or Alles Gute zum Geburtstag enjoy the golfing! Take lots of photos for us!
  6. It's up! Finally - I amaze myself at the computer work I am able to accomplish considering I am an Ice Technician and not training in all this nonsense. Also would love feedback on the new Newsletter (sorry yesterday was a broken morning so the old one went out) However we are working hard on providing a better newseltter for all to experience! It took about 4 months to build - lots of bs along the way - but happy with how it has turned out. Let us know what you think! Hope the coffee is hot and everyone is enjoying their days!
  7. So just for arguements sake lets assume that all this data is on point. I know Skytrak isn't always the best with higher swing speeds, but at least this is a direct comparison. Best thing to do is loft up a bit, get the launch a little higher and add a bit of spin. The spin is low (which can be a good thing) however with a lower launch you will be looking at more rollout (again as shown). Ball speed is similar or the same so ultimately it will be looking at ways to optimize launch conditions.
  8. This is a unique one that I am extremely excited for as it is a company many of us on the forum know, but may not know well. Their products are truly special and while this test may be a little extra work for the testers, but it will also a lot of fun for the membership to follow as they will also be tied in as part of it. Should be a lot of fun!
  9. We do have a very unique testing opportunity being released today, but there is a slight hiccup in our system that we are not able to publish it at the moment. As soon as it is back up and running we will have it published and announced!
  10. Definitely email KBS, but could it just be a non TGI version and it wasnt listed properly?
  11. Thanks for posting! Never heard of this brand before.
  12. It's an opinion piece and I have to say I think players should be able to wear what they like or are sponsored to. Did you see what Viktor was wearing? It was bad and who knows what terrible fits they had planned for the weekend had he made it. Certain things like phones, running and those I get as that's for the patrons. The dress codes of golf I think need to be relaxed but we have a full thread in that already. Augusta has their traditions - great - deciding what the golfers wear isn't one.
  13. Chrome Tour worth a look and Maxfli Tour X
  14. Would be curious on the Masters app numbers..it was the only way for me to watch and follow.
  15. My guess would be if true at least at launch is no lefty. Just too expensive and being a German company and knowing the market here this side of the pond there is very few supporters of left handed clubs. Many shops I don't even go into anymore because they may have 1000 clubs but literally 8 are left handed.
  16. https://mygolfspy.com/news-opinion/amazon-finds-outdoor-master-golf-travel-bag/ Here is a write-up I did on this. For the price it is hard to beat. That said also check out this one to help out for your packing needs. https://mygolfspy.com/news-opinion/the-only-way-to-pack-your-golf-travel-bag/
  17. I can't say I have missed it at all. I can fit all I need and more in the bag as is. Plus the weight for carrying is heavy enough that I prefer to keep it as light as possible.
  18. Happy to see these arriving and getting in the hands of our members!
  19. For sure. Masters was a prime example of his overall dominance.
  20. Counter - none of them really matter now in terms of who is actually the best. Yes owgr matters for getting into events, but in terms of identifying the best actual golfers data golf may be the only true reliable source.
  21. Reviving this thread as I just signed up for my first tournament of the season and want to get my game back in shape. Had a pretty poor round last time out and while there are flashes it is still a work in progress... Putting I am very happy with, iron play has been a disaster and same with chipping. Off the tee has been hit and miss and really just need to dial in which shaft I am going to use. More to come! May 3rd is the first round at a course I have never played so the Rapsodo is going to get a lot of work. Stack has been started and will get back onto the Hackmotion to get some ideas on where things are at there. Stay tuned!
  22. Was just on the Vice website looking around at their new stuff (new site with a much better layout) and couldn't help but see this. Was really interesting to see... could they be releasing golf clubs?
  23. Wow looks like a great trip! Thanks for sharing and glad you were able to get on this trip. You're not alone either, this next trip I have coming up to the US will technically be my first guys golfing trip that I have done.
  24. I think it has helped my knowledge overall, but not so much directly helped improve my game on course if that makes sense.
