  1. For me I've done pretty well with it and truly love how smooth the putter shaft feels. I think it's more how soft the face feels compared to the Ping. I like it... I think it's just different and taking more time to get use to. I truly believe the stroke lab shaft is very helpful and a big benefit to any golfer, but because it is so different the adjustment is large and takes time and reps. I'm guessing similar to many going from always using irons to hybrids... Big adjustment with obvious benefits but not the easiest of transitions
  2. Holy! This is fantastic. Congrats Shankster and great start, always have loved your style in your reviews. Enjoy these beauties and hope they do wonders for you. Will be a ton of fun to follow along!
  3. There are many questions I have, but mine mainly pertains to Arccos and how you perceive the handicap system it uses. Do you believe it to be a accurate scope of your handicap now that you have a good baseline or is it screwed one way or another?
  4. Ok so here is the round recap. Not sure I have ever struck the ball that well before in my life. I did have a few mishaps, but overall felt so in control and just on point. Missed one fairway and even that was in a good spot. Drove a green with my 2 iron, hit a 4 crossover 281 yards down hill and hit 12 of 18 greens in reg. Ended up with a 77 or 5 over. Now normally I'd be thrilled and it was by far my best round of the year. However I had so many poor putts and really could not get any great feel for speed. They were quick without question, but that made me almost scared and I left
  5. https://www.therisegolf.ca/ 2 hours to tee off on a brand new course. Update to follow!
  6. First time on the course in a couple weeks and my putting has not missed a beat. I didn't shoot the best with many tee shirts getting away from me but the confidence on the greens was still there. No 3 putts once again and sorry I only played 9 because with it is still great to get out. I have one slight concern with the head weight feeling lighter it had a bit of a waiver during take away which the ping did not have. It always comes back square and through and I'm not missing more putts, but it is a weird feeling
  7. So far I've really enjoyed mine and it will very likely stay in the bag. With that being said going back home and getting a few more rounds in will certainly help!
  8. Definitely have had those days and often while on the course. Typically I try to shake it off and just say it's one of those days and take in the sights to enjoy it. I'm sure it will turn around... A small break sometimes helps. Would everyone say their fittings were spot on or would you have changed anything now that you've had the putter in your hands for a little while?
  9. I've played all sorts of putters both with and without inserts and I had to admit I like the stroke lab feel. It's not that buttery soft blade like feel, but it has for a very responsive feel and I know where I've hit and what I've done when I make contact. Large part of that is I tried in practice hitting all over the have and figuring out what the feel is all over. It isn't the same feel as a milled putter, but it's also not meant to be. It does feel way better then the older micro hinge as well. That being said I hated my ping Tyne with it's harder loud sound, but came to love it after time
  10. So based off looks alone it looks like the ap3 version is now the t200 and ap1 is t300? Don't mind the looks and if the above is correct it would definitely make more sense for consumers looking at it. I'm sure they will look great from address and play well, but something there that just isn't quite screaming buy me with them. That being said I've never owned Titleist irons so maybe now is the time?
  11. Well I know where I want to golf next time there!
  12. Haven't played in really windy conditions, but I can say I don't feel it would be effected any more or less then my standard putter.
  13. June 14th Update This Sunday I'm off to China to make some curling ice and sadly the stroke lab will not be making the trip. So although I have some material to keep everyone entertained during the lull of play I do have a bit of info after my first 3 rounds. So far I'm impressed. I have had all of 2 three putts so far and last rounds was completely my own stupidity and not the stroke labs. As for round breakdowns those I will save for future, but here is a good showcase of them so far. Feel free to compare to the stage one graph shows the same numbers but from the previous 60 some of rou
  14. Congrats all! Really looking forward to seeing for these all work for you.
  15. I'm in the process of posting 4 more videos on the channel. 9 putts with stroke lab, ping, Nike and another Nike I had which is not face balanced. Different camera view as well which may give a bit more insight as I did at times feel the stroke lab sway, but it seemed to get results.
  16. As requested by @goaliewales14 here is a 9 total putt, 3 with each putter tee video. After about 30 minutes of practice doing this drill it was a very close tie between my gamer (Ping) and stroke lab. Really can't say one was better then the other, but they both did best the Nike. I did feel very confident with both ping and Odyssey even though they are balanced very differently as I've mentioned previously.
  17. And putting well with it! May be a bit older but certainly is very trusty for you.
  18. Tomorrow will be round 4 with the stroke lab and I'm hopefully going to at least get another 9 in before going to China for a bit to work. I have to admit the transition has been pretty easy so far. I noticed when practicing in the basement that it is much smoother. Compared to both the Ping and Nike which both have opposite feels the Stroke Lab is on between both. I'm not talking off the face either, simply swing feel. I always felt I liked the feel of a heavy putter as though it would guide itself and be harder to take off track. With a lighter feeling putter it would sway on me. The st
  19. Looking forward to photos. Welcome to the forum from halifax!
  20. I have a coin toss between Taylor and List. Both I believe have similar potential although List certainly has more major experience which I think could help. Likely a game time decision early Thursday morning.
  21. Since it's been a rare sight recently of a good tee shot I have plenty. But this was by far the best from the most recent couple rounds. Toed the tee shot. Striped the second, but hit it left then a good chip and solid putt.
  22. With two more stage ones to come what putters do you think they were fit into? There are a ton of options to fit all strokes and what suits the eye. What do you think you would be fit into?
  23. Update: June 10th, 2019 Have one new wedge coming in as well as two new additions at the top end. Those are both a 4 ping g410 crossover and 2 ping g 410 crossover. 4 iron is to help with a big of forgiveness with longer clubs and the 2 is for gapping/second option off the tee with all the wind we have been having!
