  1. Actually the post is all built, placeholders and all. It's on the forum... Hidden just waiting to be released
  2. It will be coming out at 9:00am CEST
  3. As the famous and wise @cnosil said to me once (last week) it can only be today!
  4. Definitely worth the fitting. Key for wedges is it's an outdoor fitting and you can try them in the various areas like bunkers. Thicker rough and more!
  5. So this test essentially already happened with the Mizuno long game and PING long games. The difference is the comparisons and such happened during the fitting process! I was thinking you were meaning multiple brands in one test.
  6. I am truly terrified to even look at the standings... I have a feeling that I have been dong so bad this season... yikes.
  7. @Splatt a true big thanks for posting these each week! They don't get nearly the attention they deserve!
  8. How do you guys find the feel of the club so far and as it looks like there is a good bit of relief on the trail side do you think this could could be good for those struggling in bunkers with little to no lip? Almost like a runner type shot?
  9. https://mygolfspy.com/golf-travel/golf-course-reviews/mygolfspy-experiences-a-guide-to-golf-and-travel-in-williamsburg-virginia/ Found this read while doing a bit of digging on the main site. Gets me more excited each and every day.
  10. Testers Announced! The TaylorMade Qi10 drivers were one of our most requested products for member testing. It is no surprise to see why, either, with several PGA Tour pros putting them into their bags immediately from launch, and even Colin Morikawa finally replacing his original TaylorMade SIM in favor of the new TaylorMade Qi10 Max. Yes, that’s correct—a tour player using the Max head. About The TaylorMade Qi10 Series The series of drivers consists of three models: the Qi10 Max, Qi10 LS (low spin), and Qi10 Standard. Each has slightly different weight placements, but only the LS model includes a moveable weight. The big story for these drivers is forgiveness. TaylorMade has created its first driver with 10k MOI points. To read all the finer details of why this matters, you can see our full overview here: TaylorMade Qi10 Drivers First Look The shorter version is TaylorMade has leveraged a multi-material design, relocated mass, and improved shapes to achieve maximum forgiveness within each model while claiming to still retain all the speed (and therefore distance) characteristics. Other big changes to the driver include the face and crown. Where previous versions for years had a clear distinction between where the titanium support met the carbon crown, the Qi10 features a clean glossy black crown with a new blue carbon face. The blue replaces the red of the Stealth models and is their third generation of carbon driver face. Please welcome and congratulate our 6 testers! 11. Really enjoyed these reviews on a very unique product. Thanks to all the testers who participated along the way!
  12. That is an option, but also one that at least for now I will wait. We have so much rain here it is only a matter of time before I have a good wet round situation. Maybe even today!
  13. Wilson has so many great products. Thanks for the write-up!
  14. Back when we had the MGS special with Galway Bay Rain gear I took advantage of it and got the hybrid series vest and jacket. I was ecstatic to get this set as I had been needing new rain gear, but this is my favourite type of jacket. I ordered medium for both as I am traditionally always a medium. I have another Galway Bay jacket that is a medium and it also fits great so it was all a basic no brainer. Let's get into it - the sizes for this series are small. Almost too small. Wearing them by themselves is okay, but snug. However it is not possible to wear them together. Hindsight I should have ordered a large, but also they are not so small that it is uncomfortable. I have been able get good swings and practice in with these and while I find it comfortable I also find it a shade restrictive. The same goes for the jacket. I love the material, feel and purpose of the hybrid jacket however for a full round I don't think this would do the trick. I also wanted to note that comfort itself is great, the larger issue is its just too snug to wear anything underneath other than maybe a shirt. As a hybrid jacket my feeling was I would like to weather this in slightly cooler temps so maybe a quarter zip or something along those lines. However it just isn't possible with a medium. In the end maybe I should have bought a large, but having other Galway Bay gear and knowing the sizes from previous jackets I didn't think twice about ordering a medium. I should have changed to a large, but at this point it is on me so now i have a nice jacket to wear around and in very specific conditions. Which is a little too bad. I will have photos and more coming soon!
  15. How is who you know important? This is all about getting a wide variety of ppl to test products to be more relatable to more golfers. Who you know truly doesn't make any difference to us. If anything it could cause various bias that could make a review lean one way or another.
  16. I ditched arccos for... Reasons... The caddy feature I didn't mind but ultimately found a range finder to give me just as much benefit. Maybe the most useful feature within it was the ability to view the course prior to playing. However that still lacked elevation so I even found that to be less useful over time.
  17. Yup I have a g410 4 crossover. It just gives that little extra pop and distance to separate better from the 5 iron compared to a traditional 4 iron. Great call!
  18. It's been really fun on a staff end because we end up building relationships with these brands and getting to know a lot more of the story behind them. And don't worry we have several more coming this season!
  19. It did. I'll look into it for you. Should be back up and running.
  20. A Sunday boost for what should be one of the most read threads on this forum. If you are serious about wanting to be a tester, read this thread. I made this new so you did not have to read through pages and pages of posts to get to know where, what and how and anything else is important. It is all right there! I will be completely transparent here - we need more active and engaged members. We have a TON of amazing testing opportunities lined up and available for our community. However we are still only going to select those who are engaged with the community and participate. If that means active and contributing members get multiple tests in a season, then so be it! People who just come to sign up, post in the testers wanted and then leave till the next week, that really is fine! We hope you stay and enjoy reading the content, but it is very hard for us to select someone with that history or profile for products that are valued at hundreds, even thousands of dollars. There needs to be a level of trust and history in order for us to have confidence in selections. These are not giveaways or prizes. The companies that we get to provide product, follow, watch and sometimes even participate in the testing opportunities and we need members who are going to dive head first into these reviews. Not just for the final review, but for the whole testing period. We have already done several selections this season and there are man great options, it makes it hard to choose at times, but there are also times where can see that someone hasn't logged in for the last 4 months till now and hasn't posted in 8 months. Hate to break it to that person, but we just aren't going to take that risk. The best way for you to get noticed and on our radar is by participating on the forum, doing a WIYB post with a little intro, take part in various areas on the forum that interest you and have fun with it! Have a great Super Bowl Sunday all and I hope that this guide will lead to many many many more of our members getting selected.
