  4. I love par 4s that aren't too long and have a lot of elevation change with water around the greens protecting it from being close to drivable. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. Pretty sure I was 6,16,17,29 today. Had a round booked pretty early...could be another reason there Tee time was too early. Anyway I'm away working out of country for 10 days and really wanted to get a last round in before I left, but I hadn't finished packing, house chores and really getting my act together for the trip. So showed up had a lot of fun (always do) but had a terrible round and the worst part was I knew it was coming as soon as I got up. I felt like I should just stay home...but I can't not go if I have the time right?! Now for a break and hope the game comes back when I arrive back in Canada. Maybe I should listen to my body when it's screaming just stay home and sleep and not get up at 5am to go golfing. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. Rough go... hopes the i200s are in good shape! It's a good thing you like your 3 wood. Hope you're able to find a new shaft for the r1. It's s beautiful driver! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. I'm a big srixon fan. They make some really good balls and have a ball to meet anyone's needs I find. I've had a lot of success with the q star tour this year. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  11. Hands are pretty even. I use a 38inch Nike counterbalance putter and hold it a bit high which always for an nice easy rock of the putter. I do feel weird putter one or another hand lower then another. Mid slim sized grip. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  12. I have to say I'm not a fan of how the look from the back. Love to see how the look from the top and at address. Kinda a shame, because the i200 had such a nice clean look to them and these with all the black kinda look cheaper...just my opinion though. Now if they perform as I expect they would I definitely would get over the looks quickly. In the mean time I'll stick to my i e1's! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  13. It's a gorgeous morning yesterday starting on the back. One last round this morning then off to Germany for curling.
  14. It's not often I ride. There are a few courses here that you have to cart which I do, but I quite enjoy the walk! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  15. This was from a few days ago but I got around to my best round ever by 6 shots. Had a 2 over 72 at Chester golf course. I put it down to 3 keys. 1. Driver only came out on 2 holes and 3 wood for any other long hole which kept me in the short grass for 10/13 fairways. 2. I had some great chips/approach with to put me close enough for only 26 Putts. The 7 iron was working wonders around the green. 3. My brother in law was having a great round as well and we have a good friendly rivalry going shot for shot which made it competitive and fun. It also kept my mind off my score for those nerves to build up and avoid that one bad hole. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  16. For me it's been a lot of trial and error. I have had an assortment of clubs rotate in and out of the bag and driver is still one of those. Everything else is a club that over time I have fallen in love with. My 3 wood: Cobra f7 is the most outstanding club in my bag this year. It is amazingly reliable and goes a mile. That and I can swing it with such confidence it's really a homerun club for me. Hybrid is a Adams dhy pro. It's gone in and out in place of a 5 wood but lately the courses I've been playing it's a perfect club for some of the in between tee shots. That and its one of the few clubs I can get to move both ways for me. The irons are Ping i irons which I got a steal off of eBay. Took them to a shop and got fit for them and haven't looked back. They replaced my cobra amp cell pro irons which I still miss, but these are much more suited to my game and give me everything I wand and need in a set of irons. Putter was a experiment with different types and brands and finding what works and looks best for me. That ended up being the Nike Method S1-12 counterbalance. It has a great feel and I always wanted a Nike club to put in my bag for a long time now that they don't make any. So that did play a factor as well. Finally wedges. I love my cobra trust rusty but want a 54,58 combo over one 56. So that is bound to change. However I keep coming back to that cobra wedge! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

    Ping G400

I may have a G30 LSTec in the mail right now with a tour stiff shaft coming to me... can't wait to have a go with it!

    Ping G400

I never got along with my MD3s for whatever reason. They felt very heavy to me. My old cobra trusty rusty tour always makes it back in. However I do have a 54,58 glide on the way to go along with my i irons which I'm very excited for.Does anyone know if they are making a new crossover for this next launch?
  21. That is exactly what I've turned to the last while. My driver use to always be a solid club for me, but since I've got my F7 3 wood it works just as well if not better in a lot of cases so driver stays in the bag with the exception of a few holes a round. That's likely also why it doesn't perform as well now. Lack of use. A general key for me when I was hitting driver was simply swing easy and through rather, because I would often hit a bit down on the ball with my driver. Last key buy a new to me driver and see if that one works better!
  22. I have two Nike putters and one won't be leaving the bag anytime soon. It's the method converge s1-12 38" counterbalance. I have never putted better in my life and have so much confidence with it. The other is a method mod 60 that I love the look of but don't putt great with it so it stays in the kitchen for practice on my fake green. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
