  1. Happy Holidays everyone! Previous to last year I was about 12-20 rounds a year for the last 5 years. However I wanted to get much much better and decided to really play and ended with 71 rounds last season. I'm hoping to have that as a minimum per season going forward! 2. Congrats on the promotion! Will be great to see where the forums are headed along with all of MGS! Nowhere else like it and can't begin to say how much I've learned and enjoyed being apart of it. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. I have the ping i e1 with Nippon modus 3 stiff shafts and typically will hit my 7 about 170. It's much further then my cobra amp cell pros which was about 155. I think the whole forgiveness had a big factor with that. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. Second that! Glad to see some positive changes for the better
  5. Last year I got a golf card game...with a puzzle course you had to put together. I'll take a picture of it if I can find it. Tried putting it together and none of the pieces fit and the cards didn't really make a ton of sense so into a closet somewhere it went! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. Has this thread made anyone else go looking for older clubs to possibly put in the bag? I know it has for me! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. Awesome thread! I do/have gone backwards over the years. One with my Fly Z+ driver. Which I've owned for a bit now, but had a King LTD but reverted back. I've also been searching endlessly for the perfect deal on a Ping i25 driver (haven't found the right deal yet!) Last and I don't exactly know how much wedges really change over the years, but I did somewhat recently purchase a set of cobra trusty rusty tour black wedges which are going into play for next season! 8. Nada! Mother in law who plays 4 or 5 times a year has one, but I'm still looking for my first. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. Would love the opportunity! 1. 29 2. 105 3. 11 4. 65 5. Cobra Fly Z+ 6. Y 7. 265 Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. That's awesome. It's exactly what I have in my Ping i E1's and love them. Definitely feel incredibly smooth and are very well balanced. I'm sure you'll get on with them great!
  11. Very envious of those irons! What shafts do you have in them?
  12. My wife got me a clicgear (3 wheel) cart a few years back for Christmas and it really is fantastic. I haven't used other brands or models, but I really only have good things to say about my clicgear! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  13. Personally I use both the pw and gw from my ping I e1 set. I love the way they look and feel, they work well and I have a lot of confidence standing over them. Plus I have their distances more dialled in. I have used a 52,56,60 make up before of specialty wedges, but have come to prefer 54,58 just because the distances on full swings work better for me. It's a very personal thing and would be different for everyone I'd say. I really like the fill 4-gw that is in my set and wouldn't change it. However that's with my irons and my ability! I'm guessing there are plenty of us out there that would prefer something far different! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

I know there was some testing done on cobra connect for MGS, but also heard something cool on the Rick Shiels review for the irons, that cobra would be including more cobra connect sensors for your other clubs with the purchase of f8 irons...seems pretty sweet. I wonder if they would sell it separately since it seems smaller then arc costs 360. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

Funny I was thinking something similar. I currently use the fly z+, but will likely put it head to head with the ping G400 among a few others and see how it goes! Really would like to see the all black model, may be a bit more appealing. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  18. I would agree it depends on your circumstances. I joined one 25 minutes away and it's about as far as i would go, but it also averages out to 3.5 hour rounds and less if I'm by myself so it can be round trip of 4 hours for 18. If the course was to take a min of 4 hours it would definitely be to for me. I love golfing it I don't want it to take up my whole day. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  19. I like the look of it. Especially with the silver on the crown. Haven't really loved a TaylorMade driver since my R1, but look forward to more details on release! Actually prefer less adjustability on this...always felt the m1 felt really hard. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  20. Have to say we have had an incredible year here in Halifax and every time I clean up the clubs for winter and say that's it for the year I end up getting asked to come out for one more round! It's been like that for about a month now. Potential last round today; however if this weather keeps up who knows! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  21. Demo day purchase...surprised this was all I walked away with, but they didn't have any lefty epic drivers so until next time! Now time to hit the range and see what this puppy can do!
  22. Record high today here in Halifax with 22! Best part is all the courses are in great shape and looking to stay open much longer then normal! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  23. Not really looking at anything in particular, but the local shop is having their demo sale Thursday so I know I'm bound to come home with something...could be a new big stick or that tweener club between my 4 iron and 3 wood. The last would be getting some clubs regripped for start of next season. Either way I know I will end up coming home with something new! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  24. Awesome thread! Wish I had thought of it. I did reach a lot of my goals for the season. This was my first year really playing consistently and my goal was get my handicap from 18 to 12 and I managed to squeak under to an 11. I also had many other mini goals but manages a 2 over 72 and broke 80 for the first time this year so an amazing season! Only goal I didn't reach was 80 rounds and manages 65 on the season!
