  1. A little under a week from now I'll be 29. However after a lot of golfing and field hockey recently my body definitely feels a lot older! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  2. Very nice! Love the blue cobra driver! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. Mine isn't nearly as extensive as well, but I'm pretty happy with it none the less. Taylormade Burner Superfast 2.0 Taylormade R1 Nike Covert 2.0 Nike Covert Tour 2.0 Ping G30 Cobra Fly Z+ (still own) Cobra King LTD Taylormade M2 (trying out in the bag now) On the list for next season is the Callaway Epic Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Glad to hear she is doing better and is home safe and sound. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. Super stroke mid slim 2.0 for me. The Nike counter flex putter I'm trying out has a very similar sized grip. It's a great size for me. I don't think if I could ever go to a skinny grip. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. Got a free dozen during a demo last week and loved them. Can't wait to see the review on them and hope you all like them as much as I do! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. Exactly, the number is a number. I may not want to play a 28.5* 7 iron or like the idea of having a 7 that is more along the lines of a 5 iron, but someone out there does because it will help their game.As long as I know my clubs distances I'm happy. My current pw is 45* and 7 is 32* they work well for me. My previous set (cobra amp cell pro) was similar with the pw being 48* and 7 at 34* All that being said I love how Ben Hogan put their lofts on the irons rather then 7 or 4. I would love to see more manufacturers do that.
  8. Lost Creek Golf Course in Beaver Bank Nova Scotia. It's about a 20 minute drive from my house. Year after year they had done a lot to improve the course. Last year they remade hole 2 and the tee box for 8. This year they are making a new green for 15 and 8. Next season there will hopefully be a better practice facility. It's been great to see a club invest in the course whereas most courses here invest in a clubhouse. This my first year as a member there and I will definitely be back next season! 9. Amazing deal! Too bad I bough the 3 wood earlier on this season. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  11. So far this season I have played a lot of golf even in bad weather. I have got a few spots in the back switched around and believe I have all the clubs I want and or need to suit my game. That being said something always comes up and changes. However what I don't have and am looking into more now that I want to get more dialled in are the portable relaunch monitors (Ernest and voice caddie) or a range finder. I've never had or really used either. Any suggestions or recommendations? Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  12. Welcome! Always good to have more lefties around Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  13. Summer is a lot of walking the dog and helping the grandparents at their cottage. That takes up most of my time outside of golfing. Bbqing would definitely also be a summer hobby. Winter is taken up by work and curling and travel. Curling has been my winter sport for nearly 22 years and is my other passion/hobby outside of golf. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  14. 1. Halifax, Nova Scotia 2. Nike converge S1-12 Counterflex 3. Consistency on 4-8 foot puts. I'm great at home in my practice mat, but when I get on the course I really struggle. I have a tendency to miss left a lot regardless or break or alignment. Good luck to everyone! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  15. I have seemed to find more success playing older models of hybrids. I have a taylormade burner superfast that works amazingly and also had a Nike covert hybrid that felt really good and worked great, unfortunately in a move it got damaged. I have tried other newer models but they don't seem to work as well as these oldies for me. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  16. Great reviews so far! Looking forward to the rest as I've played cobra drivers a lot over the past. Very interested in Arccos feature now. I knew it was good, but seems like an amazing feature. Have either of you used the game golf? I know the review is about driver and arccos is a feature of it, but would love to know how it compares to game golf even if it's just one club. Good luck with the rest of your testing! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  17. I pay $800 cdn for a Monday to Thursday membership. Allows me to play other courses on the weekends. Most courses in my area have moved away from unlimited memberships to packages. So a person would buy base membership for say $300-$500 depending on the course then actually buy their rounds with 30 or 40 rounds usually being the most. While also offering 5,10 and 20 packs where each round would work out to a bit more. Fewer and fewer are offering unlimited packs. Perks to both sides I guess. As long as the sport is growing! 18. My own opinion is it's hard to justify the price. Not when there are so many other great sets out there for far less. However I'm likely not their target market. I'm sure they are great Irons, but they remind me a lot of the TM M1/M2 irons. Seems a lot more manufacturers are getting at least one set of premium clubs out there. All in all I have to agree with you, I'd be surprised if the performance was that much greater then any of their current offerings, but I guess we will have to wait and see what the review shows when it comes along. 19. Here's what I would do with $1200 All clubs would be used and most purchase through eBay and such. Driver- cobra flyz+ $150 3 wood- taylormade rbz $60 5 wood- callaway BB V series $100 Irons- Nike Vapor Pro Combo 4-pw $550 Wedges- Cleveland Reg 588 50,54,58 $180 Putter- odyssey works tank #7 $130 Total of $1170 Keep in mind this is all Canadian funds so if we swap over to American I bet I could afford a lot more! 20. I have to agree with you all there, I think cobra is seriously underrated and make an amazing product. I love their fly z+ which is my gamer. I also had the amp cell pro Irons which were a thing of beauty. I still regret ever selling them. Maybe one day another pro version will work their way back into my bag Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  21. Welcome! Love the set up, especially the irons! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  22. Not sure if you ended up buying your set already, but getting fitted is always a good idea. That being said I have used both and definitely preferred the speedblades to the m2 Irons. The speedblades were a rental set at a resort I went to and I felt instantly comfortable with them and really enjoyed hitting them. The m2 I used was on a launch monitor at a store and it just didn't work as well for me. I'm sure it's a great club, but it didn't get along with me. Hope you find the set that works for you!
