  1. All of you are making it so hard to keep on all the forum goings on! Which is fantastic! Been a cool stretch for all of us and nice to see so many new names participating on the forum. Big welcome to all of the near 3k that have joined this month so far. Last day of work before a 4 day weekend and only a month left before the season is over for a little bit for me. Then take the ice out and let the real work begin - due to all the issues and failures causing a host of issues the last several seasons the hall called for an emergency meeting to replace the system. This is no small task and a huge cost, but also one that needs to be done. The plans are all in place and now just a few small things to sign off on and we are going to get started! The timeline will be tight to get it all done in the short offseason (5 weeks) and may mean we start our season a bit later than normal (woohoo more time off for me!). So no matter what it will be a clear win win for me and I will finally have a system that I can trust and rely on.
  2. Linx is another one that I can recall that has gone somewhat mia. I do seem to recall a main site story about their return, but didn't see much after that.
  3. I am working on a smaller project which is still very early staged. Many have been asking about towels, ball markers, hats and much more. While we have had some fun with bags the last couple years I wanted to do a quick heat check on the potential for those interested in head covers. Designs, prices and all that have not been determined or discussed, this is just the idea formation and if there is enough interest we may pursue this further. Thanks all!
  4. I am not a big blade putter person, but the results certainly have me curious. I think there are definitely some here that really intrigue me and I would like to either try or test some day!
  5. Attention Attention We have to thank @GolfSpy_BNG for being a shaft guru and getting this testing opportunity for our community. There is a cool twist to this in that @GolfSpy_BNG and @GolfSpy BOS are receiving the demo shafts and the force plates to be an additional fitting option. As both @GolfSpy_BNG and @GolfSpy_SHARK have the full flighscope setups they are properly setup to handle this. What this means is that when they get the gear from Terra Forza you are also able to reach out to them and demo/try the Terra Forza fitting method! Even if you are not selected and are curious about it. Pretty cool right? If you are interested in going through the Terra Forza experience with one of our Forum staffers please tag them here and they will reach out to you via PM. They are in the Boston and Iowa areas. Thank you Terra Forza for providing this elite testing opportunity that we are thrilled have our community participate in!
  6. If and when that becomes available we will let you know here on the forum.
  7. Potentially mid summer. While the second round had decent success, it was certainly a lot lower than the first time around. The good news is we are hoping they will be a purchase option on the RR site once this order is fulfilled!
  8. So not a true cold plunge I did try this a little while ago via a cold shower after Hayes had been on his kick about this... It may have been the worst 45 seconds of my life. I was breathing so heavily and miserable during that time. Did it feel that much better afterwards? I don't remember ... I was too busy trying to warm up haha In truth I know there are many benefits to it and it is something I may try to lean into a little more, but the cold shower is just killer.
  9. 5 putters - hmm I think you need a sixth then carry 8 other clubs. A putter gets 3 holes per round and you can use the other 8 for a modified ultimate putter bag 14 club set.
  10. Unfortunately all the numbers of viewers this year is down from the previous year. At least that is what NLU has reported.
  11. @StrokerAce completely agree! It is so easy to go through and find what you need. Equally agree with the T Squared. Super clean looking and lead me to go to their site immediately after!
  12. https://mygolfspy.com/buyers-guides/putters/best-blade-putters/ Results are in!
  13. Scottie going to go back to back to back to back
  14. Welcome all to the forum! Nice to see more WITB from everyone. What are the stories behind why you are using the clubs you are using?
  15. I recall Never Compromise just came out with new putters and I was like who the heck are these guys!
  16. Please do post! We look forward to hearing about your progress and routing for you! Thanks for posting and will be following along for future updates!
  17. Fantastic! It is funny how easy it is to catch the golfing bug and then you get hooked.
  18. Sweet! What made you go with PXG over other possible brands?
  19. We have a new feature for the forum we are excited to introduce. There are going to be a lot of new categories added and various trophies up for grabs this season and in the future we are really excited for. So what is the Trophy Room? While we will continue with a variety of badges available we have are expanding some rewards for member reviews, standout photos, VCT competitions and more! Here is a little preview of the Trophy Room! We will be adding to the various trophies that are available and listing them in a larger thread as well as how to earn them. This was for all those who have won Long Drives or various VCT events will now have them available to view permanently on their profile! For the Member Reviews we are going to have more challenges take place during the member tests and the winners will get their Trophy added to the profile, those who get awarded the best photo in a review will also get a Trophy and much more! The Forum staff will continue to work and strive to making the forum a better place and more feature rich and this is a simple starting point for this feature!
  20. Been fun to read the responses. I think I am in the $500 or so range. Again that caveat being that I am properly fit and I have been able to see the benefits vs my current model.
  21. My eyes really don't do well with overly bright lights. I get headaches and really sore/tired when I am in bright lights (especially inside for long periods of time). Therefore I use sunglasses a lot! As for what I use... I use a lot of cheap sunglasses as I do have a tendency to forget, lose or break them. I used to get Oakley or other higher priced sunglasses, but after several breaks etc I have migrated to cheaper options which have still functioned well.
  22. No secret I am an NLU fan and avid viewer/listener. How would you improve the product for us as viewers that is sustainable for the PGA Tour? Do you agree with the NLU crew?
  23. My first set was a full bag set and it was a great way to get into the game if golf. Few years later I upgraded the iron, then the bug got me and I had a new driver and 3 wood shortly after. Wedges and putter were the last to get swapped out. For those wanting to get started into the game it is a great option and absolutely nothing wrong with them. Companies like Cobra, Stix, BGD and more have very good full sets that are worth looking into and should perform well.
