  1. One more picture! This was quite often what the bag looked like around the course. Something I won't be missing. The bag was as you could imagine was so heavy! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  2. Okay stage 2 is up! With the move it looks like a crazy weekend and best to get it out now while I have the time!! If anyone has any questions please fire away. I'd be more then happy to answer any questions anyone may have. Or get more data pictures if you like. Big thanks to mgs and Ping again. I had a ton of fun and really enjoyed the challenge. Hope everyone enjoys the read! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  3. When I book I'll double check, but in the past it's been one... You have me thinking though! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  4. I am still coming! We are still waiting on exact dates for when I need to start working on the ice. I'm thinking it will be around the 15th of January. Unfortunately I doubt these will be coming along for the ride unless I can find a bigger bag to bring. It is stupid expensive to ship a set of clubs from Halifax. I am looking into more options though! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  5. Putting the final touches on stage 2 and moving into my first home! Stage 2 will go live Sunday first thing. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  6. The jpx ex forged are my brothers and for my i210 testing I wanted to give them a forged iron to go head to head against. With the jpx considered a game improvement iron I found a ton of similarities in terms of distances, forgiveness, sound and feel. However the i210 just look so much better behind the ball and not nearly as clunky or thick as the jpx. My brother loves the jpx and Ive had them for a few rounds and loved the performance but really couldn't stand the look at address. They look stellar from behind and even the sole looks thinnish, but the top just throws me for a loop and even the wedge looks like it has significant offset. 7. May have been last round of the season, but played around with the jpx ex forged and the i210. Had a lot of fun and some interesting discoveries. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  8. Great stage 2, really enjoyed the read and all your insights to the i500! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  9. I didn't use the i200 a whole lot other then a few hits at a demo day. But they didn't seem to be a massive upgrade of my e1. It's a long line of irons and I'm sure everyone has had their favorites over the years. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  10. I could see this headcover idea gaining a lot of traction! I know I'd love one... Even if it was for my driver despite testing irons. Id probably get a patch made up for "2018 Ping i210" Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  11. A few seasons back I found a set of Ping i e1 irons on eBay and purchased them had the shafts I wanted and were a great price. However they were also orange and purple dots. So after purchase I went into the local shop and had them fit me then sent them to Ping for adjustments on the lie angle to bring them to blue dot. Took about 3 weeks in total, but Ping only charged for shipping and not anything else so it cost all of $30. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  12. Not sure if you looked into this, but you could get your 54,58 at whatever deal and send them into to ping to have them adjust to to silver for you. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  13. Thanks! It's a great little par 3/4 course. Stays open year round as long as there is no snow or frost. Greens are tiny! But roll really well. Anyway great spot for testing irons as the longest hole is 320 and they have a ton of different distances to hit from. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  14. Had what will likely be the last round of the season and was able to finalize any thoughts with the i210. Now to finish writing it all up. Very busy week with moving into a new home Friday and preparing for a work trip to Finalnd at the beginning of November. Here are some pictures to get everyone a little more excited as well! However if there are any final questions or anything you'd like me to touch base on on the review let me know! Oh and demo sale at the local shop Thursday morning at 8am can't forget about that! 15. A little preview for stage 2 which on this wonderful rainy day is being written and worked on! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  16. My local course did some major work on 5 holes and it was 8 or so hours and they had it all fixed. I called them, sent them a email with the photos they needed and it was done in no time! I also say this as I'm writing up my stage 2 now. This may help as well with the word cap we try or at least attempt at sticking around haha

  18. I'll second that. I will certainly be diving more into in stage 2. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  19. I'm in the few if any practice swing boat. I do on chips and more delicate shots but for most I setup and swing. Not sure why but a practice swing (full) just doesn't seem the same as the real thing. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  20. Another one in the real world! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  21. I've never been, but seems as though that is a pretty big deal. I would think they would want to be there in some form or fashion. I can remember seeing the pictures of their booth when they signed tiger. Looked like it took up half the room! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  22. Funny how curling has that reputation. Curling and golf are so intertwined and at least here in Canada a lot of curlers golf with their offseasons lining up so well. Personally I've curled for 23 years now and much like other sports it's very much about the social aspect and the drinks afterwards. I get how most find it boring to watch, however to play especially for your first time I can guarantee you'll be sore as all get out the next day! Oddly enough it is growing as a sport by adapting to newer trends and making the game not only more accessible to New comers including changing the form the game is played in. Maybe it's something golf can take a page out of? Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  23. Love the Tyne! Not sure I'd drop full price for the newer version as I have the sigma g tyne but worth a little test run at least!! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  24. It's fall and my pup although a husky doesn't love the cold so he's all bundled up... Find the dog! Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  25. They are heavily water resistant. That being said I havent tried to dunk mine. The tags are easily removable so that would be one option if they can't be dunked. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using MyGolfSpy mobile app
