  1. Another killer recap going into the week! Tiger will be a huge story of course and it will be interesting to see him back playing. However it is the others that I am more excited to see. Love that you highlighted Hatton there as he is one of my all time favourites. No returning champ as you said and this is a course which has had some surprising winners and newer winners. Great field again and I have my picks locked in!
  2. It was one of the Cobra guys and essentially they said good riddens! There was more on the LIV side too, but it sounded like a nightmare to work with and someone who simply didn't have it all figured out. Same thing for when he got so much bigger, he hurt himself and realized he had to change back to a healthier way. There is no magic cheat code in golf. It takes hard work and skill. He certainly has proven that he is skilled with all his wins and there is no question he works hard. However not sure if he was working hard at the right things? I admit I miss Bryson on tour. He made for a good story line as a polarizing player. Whether it be his putting style, one length irons or bulking up and more. However I don't feel bad for him getting into this spot. It is on him and he has more than enough money to buy whatever clubs he wants. To me the story would more be who will commit to making new irons for him and will cobra continue making them or will they slowly phase them out?
  3. Zoom link has been added to the top. Tomorrow afternoon we look forward to some lively discussion insights into the Most Wanted 2023 Driver and others!
  4. Exactly. I don't see why any OEM would want to. He doesn't play on the more prominent tour. He has a history of bad mouthing the product which he is being sponsored by. He doesnt use half the brands he is sponsored by. I'll try and find that tweet. He is extremely specific in his needs for equipment and they don't exactly cross over to the general public so that R&D is essentially just for him. I believe he will remain a free agent for the remainder of his career.
  5. It can dry out there so quickly and with all the forest fires each summer it's amazing how hot and dry it can be. Especially compared to the rest of Canada. Are your courses hilly as well? Kinda think that plays a small role as well. My home course is stupid flat which helps a lot, going to hilly courses makes me have to get more creative and question some wedge choices.
  6. Unfortunately swimming lessons were cancelled this morning. Water was apparently too cold so they will add a week later on. Too bad because it is one of my week highlights, but at least we get another later on!
  7. Went with some bigger names this week.... because why not!
  8. So much new gear out there! I haven't taken the plunge on anything quite yet, however I do see a new set of wedges in my future!
  9. Amazing. Bet you could have some fun with your playing crew going over that and how it works. What are the lengths of the shafts? Any weight positions?
  10. https://mygolfspy.com/l-a-b-golf-link-1-putter/ L.A.B. Golf adds the Link.1 blade putter to their 2023 putter lineup. The Link.1 features the same torque-balanced design found in the popular L.A.B. Golf mallets. The Link.1 is available at lab golf.com. MSRP $469 for stock and customs starting at $559. L.A.B. Golf unveiled their new blade putter last month, the L.A.B Golf Link.1. If you missed it, don’t feel bad. We had a great many golf products cross our screens and inboxes last month. Some of them were bound to get lost in the glossy deluge of newness. A single new putter from a small putter company doesn’t stand much of a chance of being noticed when the big players in golf are throwing millions at the public’s attention.
  11. It is car launch season! Alpha Tauri Alfa Romeo Red Bull Haas Aston Martin Mclaren Ferrari Williams Have all launched their cars so far. There is running theme of a lot of black (weight savings on paint) on the cars. What do you all think of them so far and who has the best livery?
  12. I am really looking forward to hearing what Phillip has to say and if it was a surprise that this was the end result of if he could see it coming along with several other questions. Now that he has a few years under his belt with this or more I think there are likely a few things that stick out to him or are worth noting.
  13. I mean rust adds spin right? I believe I'm done doing any more "work" to them. I hope this look stays around a bit longer than before. The grooves in my mine are performance so it would be how filled they are or how clear they are kept.
  14. Do this must be what edition 4 or 5 of these? The copper irons from Cobra are on sale and I desperately don't want to spend money I don't need to so I went in going for that kind of look. I will go to the range Thursday I think and see how it holds up, but will leave it to sink in till then.
  15. Lots of new "faces" well names ... How did you choose your name? Any story behind it? Or is it just the name you use on most other platforms?
  16. There is a link at the bottom of the article with the data. However to save you the trouble of reading the article and finding it here it is. https://mygolfspy.com/best-golf-drivers-2023-data/
  17. I have a 0211 and have yet to actually play a round with it, but I love the look. I may actually bring it to the range tomorrow... anyway what I wanted to say was love the look of these and I will put these on the short list. I have a lot of drivers I need to test apparently!
  18. Photo update incoming .... yes yours truly got bored again and decided to try another finish on the raw irons. These guys are getting a workout! haha
  19. All the more reason to take the plunge!
  20. I think we have always said that most wanted isn't a this is the best for all. It is a starting point and for many who simply go OTR it is a great resource. It doesn't make me more enticed to play or try stealth 2, but is interesting. Same with Cobra. I'm looking forward to talking to Philip and seeing what were some surprises to him, what had some underdog results and what he thinks of some of the new tech introduced and how it improved over previous years.
  21. https://mygolfspy.com/new-for-2023-adidas-zg23-golf-shoes/ Busy day for blog articles! Sneaker heads what do you think? Adidas has some if my favorite golf shoes for comfort. What do you all think?
