  1. Sorry can't help but I'll certainly keep my eyes out and update this thread if i do hear anything.
  2. That's taking your time! We (I as my wife didn't drive) did Halifax to Vernon in 3 days. Moving back on track though i did get an awesome pen set that is made in the look of golf clubs and the holder opens to be a mini green fur Christmas!
  3. Second all of this. But your drive from Niagra to BC won't be a short one! Trust me I've done it...
  4. So who are you changing your name to that lives by you to get your masters Invite?
  5. There are essentially 2 brake modes. Normal drive and then B for brake regen. Here are my thoughts on it. I use the brake regen almost exclusively. My whole drive to work is downhill and I regain about 1-2% on my drive to work. If I hit traffic I break even. Going home I use about 5% because it is a lot of uphill. however there are also 3 different drive modes. Eco, Normal and Sport. When I started I used Eco all the time... well honestly doesn't make that much of a difference. It does limit the comfort features (AC and such) which is where it helps. Other than that it may add all to 10-14km on a full charge. Sport mode well only had it on about 2 times... fun but very much unnecessary. Now where I find the biggest gains (no matter the mode) is using cruise control. As much as I believe I am a good driver and can get the most out of it, the computer systems are pretty freaking smart. So I use it anywhere I can and that I have found to help a lot, especially on highway driving. Oh and the speed limits here on highway are 120km or 75mph however going that speed kills it. Simply going 110 (as the signs often go 120 then 100 then back 120 and back to 100) going a simple 110 helps immensely and I haven't noticed much of a difference in getting where I want to go on time.
  6. I am curious to see what you think when you see the colors in person. I loved the look of rogue, but we will see how these go. I won't be getting something new this year. Tsi3 has its spot safe in the bag for the season, however I will be excited to hear how everyone else gets on with these or if maybe it is a bit of a down year for some as it does seem Titleist has been making big gains in this space.
  7. As we have crossed the date into 2023 it is time for an update to this thread. A lot if not all of you know we had some changes in terms of testing opportunities in 2022 which was scaled back in terms of what had become the norm in prior years. While I do not have a schedule for the upcoming season as to what is on the horizon I can tell you we will have some great opportunities once again coming to our forum members. That being said as we do not know exactly how many tests are coming there are a few things I want to make everyone aware of before we head in. First is despite what many of the social media posts say for example "must follow" "tag 2 or 3 friends" etc we still select the testers as mods and our requirements have not changed. We still actively try to bring in new testers and we value activity on the forum first and foremost... which leads into my next point. We had a good group last year as a whole, however we did have a few who went mia which is unfortunate however it does happen. However forum activity is going to be very important and a larger consideration moving forward. While we still will work hard to get new members involved, recent activity will be a very important focus point for us. This doesn't mean life time posting and history of posts, but recent activity on the forum. Next is as we do not know how many tests are coming there will be a cap at one test per year per tester. This may be overridden on golf ball tests as they are smaller, but just know that if you apply for a test and are selected that will be your test for the season. In other words choose carefully what you apply for and only apply for those tests that you want to test or are excited to test. We are excited for this coming year and it will kick off with the Cobalt test who will have testers announced in the coming days. It has been great to see some off season tests this season and of course if you have questions reach out! For those of you who want some quick hit points to being selected here are some tips we look for! 1. Profile photo - no photo no selection its that simple 2. Get involved - we want to see that you going to do a good review for our community so having some posting history even if brief is important! 3. Complete your profile: Even if it is 75% complete that is considered completed (the other 25% is for additional questions which you can answer by going into profile settings) however having a profile completed to the 75% shows interest in the forum. 4. Follow the forum instructions! (ie please do not apply here ... if anything it will hurt chances) 5. Finally ask questions, start a thread of your own, introduce yourself or any of that! We often select one new tester per test and there are many of them here in this thread that can attest to that or some that will hopefully chime in after seeing this post! Once again if you have questions just ask! Whether here or via the PM system to the mods we will be happy to assist where we can!

  9. Best I've got on brake recharge was 7% which i thought was pretty awesome. We do see a fair few Mach E here and I wish they had been around to test when we were thinking about buying.
  10. Top line would have been better! Wonder how long it will be till they have a complete lineup?
  11. Heard a few horror stories about many with EV in the US where the cold temps caused massive lineups for chargers and some where the car simply wouldn't charge because it was too cold. Hopefully none of you all had this issue. I am about 5k KM in with my EV and have to say I am fairly impressed. I would love an extra 50km or range (35 miles) however it does all that I want and require of a car. It is so easy and functional to drive and other than a bit of extra planning for some longer trips it's been awfully easy to go about my normal day to day without much thinking. We did get the wall box installed at home (for UK folks they have a few surprises coming here... if I find the article I'll post it) and it charges at 12 kw/h which means its about a 3 hour charge. I certainly don't know if I would recommend a EV to everyone. Certainly takes a bit more planning and thinking at times, however 6 months in or so I will say it is essentially second nature now and I do very little thinking as to where and when I need to charge. My free 50kw/h charger at work has been taken away due to ppl abusing it however thankfully there are still some other options!
  12. Got a PS5 not exactly for Christmas, just the timing worked that way for swapping to a new cell phone provider and finally got a chance to sit down and play a little bit... or I thought I had time. I got 2 games to start. F1 manager - so far fun, but pretty long and tedious. The nice part is that it goes by quick and can be somewhat mindless so a good thing to play when not wanting to think too hard. Especially when you have a back marker like I chose with Aston Martin. The development time for that car will be at least a season or two... at best. God of War 2018: This one I was really excited for and finally broke into in last night... for all of 6 or 7 minutes.... I wanted to play for a hour or so, however baby had other plans. I have seen lots about the game so I know a lot of what is coming and what to expect, but still was a bit of a bummer when didn't get a good chance to crack into it. However family first and the game can always wait till a time when they are asleep or well have some more patients for me to play! Oh and it was free which was maybe the real win!
  13. I didn't post the other videos as I was away and well kinda forgot to along with didn't see a ton of traction. That being said was a good last few episodes and enjoyed them overall. Was a fun season and admit the following of golf was a little harder than normal, but due to the travel aspects I enjoyed this season a lot more. In other NLU news they have left Callaway and joined Team Titleist!
  14. They have always been replaced. Never had to pay for new ones. I'm sure they would still them individually as well.
  15. Maybe they hid the forged for somewhere else... right on the top line perhaps? or somewhere on the hosel?
  16. The irons are almost too pretty to play... Welcome! If and when I am in your area I'll be sure to reach out and we can try and get a round in. I know the owners of Goswick GC and have a standing invite there to play just have yet to find the time!
  17. Had I not been putting the baby to sleep I would have had it up before you had posted haha
  18. Evnroll has a whole lot of putters in this line up! 15 to be exact. Definitely a lot that in my wheelhouse as far as looks and seeing as I have never owned a Evnroll putter before this may just be the time. You can read the full article here: https://mygolfspy.com/2023-evnroll-v-series-putter-line/ As well we will have a Gratuitous Photo Thread up before too long as well! What are your favourites and what would be your short list picks?
  19. I already see all the youtube videos that will be coming out to review these.
  20. Maybe it's because i liked the G400 so much, but for one reason or another the g430 isn't making me super excited. Or maybe it's because the tsi3 is that good. I'm sure it will perform and do well. There is just something there that isn't moving the needle... Yet.
  21. Sorry to hear about your experience both product and experience. Not that I think it will help, but I will try to pass this on to our contacts. We had a test for our members that overall went well. Of course wasn't a product for all, but still had decent results. We also have a thread with many who have had problems. The concerning part for me is that it seems you're having to go through vendor and vendor to get support. Either way hope you stick around and are able to share more of your golfing experiences and thank you for sharing this one as well!
  22. I need more emotions. Happy new year and sorry to hear about the gout! Hopefully you're feeling better soon enough.
  23. I believe we can pass that question on and maybe it will!
