GolfSpy_APH - A Toura Golf Wedge Build
GolfSpy_APH replied to GolfSpy_APH's topic in Club Making/Repair & DIY Projects
YAYAYA! I had a quick email exchange from Jon from Toura and he is happy they are going to a good home... his quote "they are almost too beautiful to hit, but I hope he does!" -
Is Golf's Dress Code Outdated?
GolfSpy_APH replied to GolfSpy_APH's topic in Breaking News and Debate
This is part of a golfing complex, so basically everyone onside abides by the normal golf rules etc. -
With the mevo reviews wrapping up this is a great article to highlight once again!

I believe I already mentioned the Paradym TD being the go to for the season. My honest biggest debate is to see if I even want to try any others. Based off the range session that will be a no. Now as for what shaft is going to be the go to. That is an entirely different matter!

How Is torque measured, static or dynamic?
GolfSpy_APH replied to Donn lost in San Diego's topic in Golf Clubs
Even the amount of times where torque is measured varies between companies. They can be done on different sides, near the spine or away from it that can produce different results. Just a tricky thing to properly gauge all around. -
Is Golf's Dress Code Outdated?
GolfSpy_APH replied to GolfSpy_APH's topic in Breaking News and Debate
I was at the range/practice facility and it seems like the general rules or terms for dress code are becoming more relaxed. Saw a few in jeans, normal tee shirts and the like. Everyone enjoying the nice weather and getting good practice in. There are signs about collared shirts and no blue jeans etc, but in general the vibe just seemed a lot more relaxed. -
If I was in Canada or the US I would definitely have picked up a pair or two!

Awesome! Yeah shipping and import charges well they suck! Will be great to hear what you think when you get it. I lot of LAB converts here and I think the DF3 will be another popular putter among membership. -
Some would even say I post too much ... I don't think so though

MGS FORUM MEMBER VCT CUP TOURNAMENT - ROUND 1
GolfSpy_APH replied to GolfSpy_BEN's topic in MGS Virtual Golf Tournaments
Date 03/17/2024 Course Name Lost Creek Gross Score 75 Course Handicap 0 Gross Strokes over/under par 4 Net Score to Par 4 Net Score 75 Net Birdies or better Longest Drive SIM Round? SIM Sorry @Golf2Much course was rained out this week and only option was for Sim rounds. While things felt good, the scores just didn't end up as well as I was hoping. 18 home course is still closed and 9 open, but packed beyond belief right now. If we make to to round 2 things should be better! -
I'll let you use your imagination!

Pretty sure this has been discussed before, but with the new releases maybe opinions have changed. Just for fun, if you had to only pick one brand to play for the this season - top to bottom (clubs only). What brand would that be? PING? COBRA? TaylorMade? Callaway? Mizuno? Titleist? PXG? DTC brands? - if you want to have some more fun, build the bag and show it to us!

Do you happen to mean the Pro? As with most pro models they are a lower spinning and in theory a less forgiving driver. More boom or best potential. It could be that you are just a better fit for low spin driver heads and the others you have been playing are higher spin. The shaft will also play a role and could be something that really worked for you in the Xhot compared to later drivers.
