  6. I have a set of Project X 5.5 shafts that I would sell you. They were pulled from my current irons and are just collecting dust. I don't need the 6.5 though. Sent from my Pixel using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  7. I just received my first totally custom fit putter. A 34" Odessey EXO Indianapolis with a SS counter core Pistol gt 2.0 . Haven't played a round with it yet, but rolling it in a couple sessions on the putting green have yielded great results! Sent from my Pixel using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  8. I will have to bow out of our league this year. It was a lot of fun last year, but I am not going to have much time this fall. Sent from my Pixel using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  9. Distance is what sells. So OEMs are making longer length drivers to promote distance, and allow guys to hit the ball farther when they happen to hit the screws. Think about all the commericals and ads that you see. "Gain 10-15 yards", "Longest driver", etc. Most guys want to brag to their buddies about how they hit a 300 yard drive, not how many fairways they hit. Everytime I go into one of the golf shops in my area and test a driver the "fitter" there is only focused on distance, trying to get me to bite on 5 more yards. I would rather hit every fairway than have 10 more yards. I went to a driver that is 44.5" and it has done wonders for me accuracy wise and I have barely lost any distance because I am hitting the sweet spot more consistently. 10. I have been using a Caddytek EZ for roughly 4 years now on roughly 120 rounds and mine is holding up great. I will probably upgrade after this year though. More out of want than necessity. Sent from my Pixel using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  11. Is this still available? Sent from my Pixel using MyGolfSpy mobile app
  12. I second this post. I picked up the King Utility and it is fantastic. When my driver isn't working I switch to this off the tee and I don't miss much.i also really liked the Mizzy Fli Hi as well. But the King Utility just beat it out. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  13. Send me a private message with pictures. I have been looking around for an ER5 and would love to see yours. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  14. I should have added that if you are a VIP member with them, which should be free through an account online. You get an additional 5% off. So that makes the pricing good. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah, it is decent pricing online. A single dozen is $35. If you buy 3 dozen they are $33 each, and if you buy 6 dozen it's $30 each. Personally I think that Snell and Vice are better balls, and that is what I usually play. They are also. Right in that same price point. However, I think the Oncore is worth a try, because you might like it more than me. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  16. Gosh, after reading a few of these stories I am almost ashamed that this is the weirdest shot I have witnessed! Haha [emoji23] It was January and we had a rare day when it was sunny, in the low 40's and not very windy. We were playing at one of the public tracks in our area and wwas playing the par 3 #12 hole. It's a short par 3, about 140 yards, but the green has 3 tiers kind of resembling the medal stand at the Olympics. The back middle is the highest sloping down on the left and the lowest on the right. Anyway the pin was on the lowest right level. My buddy steps up to the tee box and proceeds to top the ball right onto the frozen pond. But the ice was smooth and it bounced and skipped across the frozen pond on to the green, almost to the top of the slope on the high middle back portion of the green, came back down the slope and into the cup. It's his only hole-in-one, and he owns it. He loves the fact that it skipped accross a frozen pond. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  17. I ordered a "free" test sleeve from them. ($4.99 shipping) they were pretty good. A good ball none the less, it just didn't wow me. Good greenside spin, but it sounds a little too much for me off the tee. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  18. I have the urge for a new driver. I am thinking about the Rogue Sub Zero. I got put into a regular epic last year and it has been very spinny for me. Thinking a low spin head would suit me well. Has anyone upgraded from the Epic to the Rogue? What differences have you noticed? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  19. Did the bleachy white clean then up nice? Did you notice any damage to your grips? I usually switch mine out every year as well. I have the privilege of playing about 80 rounds a year if all goes well. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  20. After every shot with a Frogger brush and wet towel. Then about once a week I give them a bath. I don't clean my grips near as much as I should, currently about once a month. I just love the look of a clean club face behind the ball. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  21. Welcome from just south of Lincoln, NE! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  22. I have them in a white satin finish. I didn't like the blue finish. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  23. I like the T7's pretty well. It's the first time I have gamed Mizzy wedges and they are great. I have played Vokeys and Clevelands, just as good as either of those. I went with them last year to get a similar feel to my Mizzy irons and I liked the shape. Not sure if I will get more when I go to replace these ones though. Not due to performance but mainly looks. I like the look of black wedges a lot. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
  24. The only thing holding me back is the set of Mizuno T7s I bought last July... Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
