  4. The thing that really got the USGA and R&A was when that Asian kid won and got a spot in the Masters as a amateur. I recall during the telecast it was mentioned that they weren't thrilled that the up n coming golfers were using long or belly putters instead of traditional putters. That in my opinion was the thing that started the whole anchor ban. They (USGA and R&A) DIDN'T like the look. It also didn't help that two or three majors had been won by long putters. 5. I lost my job and was forced to disable retire from law enforcement. My son was in the same boat, so I worked out a deal with our golf course owner to do odd jobs for him. Clean the clubhouse every week, sometimes now the greens, pick up trash from the c ourse, things like that. His generosity allowed my son to play for free. As far as teaching....a couple of guys at our club has taken up with him and enjoyed watching him improve, so they took him and became his defacto teacher. So far it worked out, we still have our deal and they still help him with his game. Last season he was able t
  6. I haven't had to use a wedge in a green, yet anyway. Did get a couple of good ideas from this post however on when I could. At the course I play most there's a long narrow green with a VERY uphill portion that runs up the green to the flatter area. I have in the past used a hybrid to traverse the distance when the pin is in the back and I have got short into that green. Iron specs: Adams a12os regular (needing senior) 4-sw. Driver specs: Adams super s adjustable regular (SAA). Handedness: Right Handicap: 16 Wise County, Va.

  8. Wow, this just blows my mind. It'll be interesting to see where the two go from here. Seems like this will be one of "those" divorces that will have us pondering the who, what, when and why?

  13. Willie Virginia Shoot in the mod 80's to low 90's. Yes played the Di7's. Current iron set is Adams A12OS. I would love to try out these irons. I've wanted to go back to Wilson but do not have a Wilson forget here and simply can't afford to change on my disabled police retirement. If I am so lucky I would love these in a senior flex.
