  1. I think you are mistaken MGoBlue100. I also joined and this is not going to be a "Semi-Private" facility. Three Jack National is projected to be the Pine Valley of Missouri.
  2. I had the same issue last spring. I was hitting a Titleist 913 D3 and wanted to upgrade. Everything I tried off the rack would be equal to or less than the 913. Frustrated that I couldn't find something that was better than what I had currently, I went to PGA Tour Superstore and bought an hour long Tour Fitting session. BEST DECISION EVER. I was able to hit the 4 different driver heads (M1, M2, Epic, 917) I was looking at switching to. I was able to also try about 4 or 5 different shafts in each head to dial in launch angle, spin rates, etc. Some of the head/shaft combos worked and some didn't
  3. Pheasant Run in Canton has 27 holes that are always in really good shape. Fun to play and is challenging. Fieldstone GC in Auburn Hills is a great track as well. Definitely a more challenging course. It was the Course the PGA Tour would use for the Monday Qualifier when the Buick Open was still on the schedule. Katke-Cousins is in Auburn Hills as well. Never played but have heard great things about it. I checked the website and it looks like the Oakland University Golf team plays their matches there. The Orchards in Washington (just east of Auburn Hills) is a good track as well and we
  4. I have a set of the MP18-MMC models and absolutely love them. I am a single digit handicap and decided to go with the MMCs because they provide a very similar feel to the blade/SC models but are way more forgiving then the blade/SC models. Due to work, I don't have a ton of free time to practice so the fact that I can go from the trunk of the car, straight to the Course and know I will hit solid iron shots is huge for me (didn't quite have that comfort level with my old 712 AP set). The JPX line is great as well but the feel and look of the MP18s was considerably better IMO. Hope this helps.
  5. Ryan from Texas Handicap: 0.5 Current Set: Titleist 712 AP2 I would really like to test the JPX 900 Tour irons.
  6. I should have prefaced this with I do not play nor do I have any interest in playing TMag Golf Clubs. The "arrow" can help but in the end the Indian is the determining factor. I was just simply asking from a nuts and bolts standpoint, is that what TMag is doing to make their arrows more appealing to the general public. I am sure that there is more science behind the PSi irons but I am thinking that this has a lot to do with it. I just have a feeling that if something is too good to be true, it probably is.
  7. I do like to drink beer and play golf and usually do both at the same time...
  8. I am going to preface this post with the following: I will be the first to admit that I am not a huge fan of Taylor Made products in general. I just get the feeling that they are a Marketing Company that also happens to make and sell golf clubs. After reading some other posts on here, apparently I am not the only one that shares the view that Taylor Made is loosing its standing in the market. With that being said though, every weekend I watch golf on TV, the Jason Day commercial in which he is having guys hit 8 irons instead of 6 irons, etc. into a par 3 always comes on. The only thing tha
  9. If you get a Outing set up or need help setting one up, let me know, I would be happy to help. I am always looking for new people to golf with.
  10. Hey Everyone. Really excited to finally sign up after much urging from my buddy (MGoBlue100). I have followed MGS on Twitter for the last couple of months and would like to see what all is talked about and discussed on here. I was born and raised in the great state of Michigan, hence the username. Moved to South Florida after High School and entered into the PGA Apprentice Program . After 4 years of working in the industry as an assistant pro, teacher, purchaser, and merchandiser, I was given the opportunity to try something new and get out of Florida before the housing market crashed. I h
