  1. I have used Arccos for years and love it. I think it's a real help in terms of distances with clubs, what my misses are and also reality of what my game is. It's also fun to go back and think about the round, where you could have made better decisions or club choices and relive the round.
  2. I did late this past summer. It started with me trying to prep for a trip to Ireland a couple years ago and I ditched my 7 wood for a 3 driving iron. It's been a fairway finder for me ever since and is a confident club. This past fall I looked at my Arches data and hadn't hit my 3 wood since June due to my miss of a high spinny right miss with it, so I went and picked up a 2 driving iron. U505 but bent it to 17 degrees from the 18 to fit the gap between the 3 iron and it. It's been good thus far. I know some hit fairway wood better but I'm a better long iron hitter than fairway wood player. If it works for you it works!
  3. I think the demand has gone up so prices have followed. Basic economics although I'm sad to see it become so. Looking at prices in AZ right now and wow! Most of the courses are $300-$500 a round right now. And then when you show up you find some greens in repair, course in bad shape, or a jammed tee sheet and have to play a 5+ hour round behind slow golfers. I don't see it changing unfortunately but I wish it would come back a little bit.
  4. I got the DeWiz trainer a couple months ago and while it's still crazy winter in Utah, I've been putting in some good swings with that every day. Both in conjunction with a sim and then also just by itself and a club. It's been a great tool to give you proper feel of good swings.
  5. I spend a lot of time in the winters in a golf simulator. I think it helps if you are working on swing issues or tendencies. Like others have said, weather, and hitting from perfect lies tend to make it not so realistic unless you have one of those new ones that angle the ground. I’ve been using the DeWiz swing tool and think that it, coupled with the sim are an excellent combo. Tells you if you’re coming over the top or under the top, tempo, and backswing length. Hope to see how that translated this spring using the two together.
  6. Yes walking is great! It's exercise and typically a third cheaper per round. I bought a clic gear cart and it's so simple now. The challenge is convincing your friends to buy a cart as well....those lazy a's. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  8. Really looking at new wedges. Vokey SM6's. Just wondering around my fitting and questioning the lofts etc. not 100% confident in what the guy was telling me. I think I need to visit another place to get fit again. PW is 150, 52 is 128, 56 is 115, and 60 is 100 currently. He said to go to a 50, 54, and 58 Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
