  1. Golf gloves from Shank It Golf, they have what they call misfits.... 5 gloves for $10.00. There normal glove price is $19.99 each so took a chance, great glove(s) at a sweet price.
  2. I have no problem with riders, but I prefer to walk. Helps me calm my nerves and access my upcoming shot.
  3. Congrats... be looking forward to those write ups as I'm in the market for some new kicks.
  4. I carry 4 wedges. PW and Gap wedge both are Cobra that came with set. Then I have 54 and 58 degree Titleist Vokey's to finish it up.
  5. Mine would be Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Thrift Shop as the song keeps me in the mood with swing to match.
  6. After having many skin spots removed from my Dermatologist, I purchased arm shields from Soul of Adventure (fishing site, but who cares). Sleeves are needed if you play alot of golf in SoTex in the sun. The site offer deals when you sign up and I have like 10 pair that I alternate in and out. Luv the various colors and patterns that you can mix and match.
  7. Yes, you should as it's a fun hobby that you can enjoy.
  8. Based upon the others who replied to your thread.... I guess I'm relatively new to home brewing as I picked it up when COVID hit. I'm on batch #12, currently just bottled an Irish Stout waiting to fridge.
  9. Hey Dweed... so resurfacing is very similar to full hip replacement but they don't cut the femur they just trim it preserving the neck of the femur bone. I've been pain free ever since I had both done, I do have some limitations in movement but that's do to a touch of ossification in both hips. I walk 18 holes 3 to 4 times a week, so I feel blessed to be doing that.
  10. Yeah, you're not the first person who told me that. I was too young for full replacement so they asked me if I would be a candidate for resurfacing. This was 12 and 13 years ago, as I've had both done.
  11. Playing in South Texas in the humid hot days, I go thru at least 3 to 4 gloves a round that become wet. So I've come up with ways to try to keep them longer by alternating them thru the round and then I wash them after 3 rounds. Tip is don't put them in the dryer after washing, I lay them flat on the dryer to let them dry. I use the Kirtland golf glove and by doing the steps above, I can keep gloves at least 6 months for a 4 pack.
  12. Just curious, anyone else on the community have one or both hips resurfaced like me? Wanted to open discussion to hear about your aches and pains or limitations.
  13. Yup, walk 3 to 4 times a week have a Clicgear push cart that helps me along. I've had both my hips resurfaced and getting out walking helps considerably.
