  1. So How was that for good news!!
  2. Yes!! And that's just an appetizer! You should see the main course
  3. FYI, Giant has been very low on Ice Cream for two weeks. But Safways seem to have a good supply. Well.....at last so i've been told.....ha
  4. Sorrry. It's been a bit crazy the past week. Just catching up on this thread. Indeed I am there. Well not right now as Ben is probably aware, we are shut down. When we are back open stop by Ben, I'm in the sales office. John. We need to get you down sometime soon again.
  5. I think it became official 25 years ago, but just not on paper. So many people in our community automatically call her my wife, or me her husband when talkign to her. So it's become automatic. But yes officially a Fiance now for 25 years

    Those are awesome looking!
  7. My wife and i and no kids will watch their movies and just crack up. But we also love Frozen, so there may be something wrong with us
  8. Ok, bad choice of words, by site, I do mean Forum! That's the last clue though
  9. And trust me, we can all use some these days. Then.....you may want to be where you can read the site at some time tomorrow. Just saying
  10. The testers already know this, but to update everyone on the forum so you don't start wondering where the hold up is. PING is currently in the middle of a two week mandated shutdown. When they do open, we don't know at what capacity it will be. PING is 100% committed do doing this testing, but will do so without putting their field reps and fitters at risk. So it may take a while to get everyone's fitting done, but I know the wait will be worth it for the testers and ultimately for the forum readers. We will keep you up to date on any information we get. In the meantime, keep the conversation going!!
  11. This thread has suddenly made me hungry!
  12. Footjoy is by far my favorite in outwear, polos and shoes. Puma a close second in all areas. Shorts, I've had the best luck in my sizing with UA and Adidas Like PMookie, I love Peter Millar for special shirts from nice courses/resorts
  13. Good stuff in here guys. FYI. I'd you aren't already following @Fujikura Golf SM accounts. You may want to check them out
  14. Congrats to our selected testers! Go here to see the official review: Testers Wanted (2) T100-S and (2) T200 Titleist Irons What better way to get our minds off of all the troubles in the world these days than a good iron testing. Well at MyGolfSpy, we don’t do good, we do MIND BLOWING--You Can Not Be Serious testings!! And that’s what we have here! When Titleist introduced its new T Series irons last fall, it included pretty much everything you’d expect from Titleist, all neatly arranged—T100, T200 and T300. The T100 fit the accomplished amateur and many tour pros, while T200 and T300 were designed for the distance and game improvement segments respectively. Now this spring comes the T100-S, and you can read the excellent First Look by our own Tony Covey here: Titleist launches T100-S. Titleist in the first ever Forum Testing opportunity that I can recall, is going to provide our members a chance to put these beautiful and now longer players irons to the test. But wait there’s more: Titleist doesn’t just dip its toes in the water, it goes off the high dive! It realizes most everyday forum golfers aren’t cut out for such a player’s club. So, it’s widening the testing field to include the T-200 iron as well! That's right two models, two testers each. So read the instructions closely, as not following them exactly could cost you an opportunity to be a tester. How to Apply This is important, so please follow these instructions carefully: 1. If you haven't already, make sure you're a registered MyGolfSpy Forum member 2. Provide us with the information requested below. 3. Be honest on your selection of desired test iron and handicap, it doesn't do anybody any good to have a 36 handicap testing an iron designed for tour players and single digit handicaps. - Your First Name - City/Sate - Your Handicap - Current Iron Model In Play - Desired Model to test- You Must Choose ONE-saying something like "either one" will get you disqualified. Lastly but just as importantly Please do not 'quote' this post when applying.. Per the manufactures request: this review opportunity is open to golfers who resides in the US. We'll be announcing the testers in this thread next week, so make sure to check back.
  15. Remember what Adam has always said, There's no one driver that is best for everyone, but there is one driver that is best for everyone. With so many testers, 37 I think, there were certainly a handful where the SIM ranked as the best for them, but just not for the majority of the group. But I certainly understand the part about wanting to wear the badge of playing the Most Wanted Driver, nothing wrong with that at all. Having had the SIM MAX for a few rounds then moving on from it, I think it definitely isn't a plug and play driver, it maybe more than any other driver out this year requires a thorough fitting from a qualified fitter. I'm glad it works for you, TM makes great drivers, and I have hit the SIM MAX-D better than I did the first model. But it still lags a bit behind my TS1.
  16. Those 99 Apex were I bought a demo 5 iron just to have one. Remember when all the companies used the 5 as a demo iron. Now most average and mid handicaps and up like me rarely play a 5 iron.
  17. He's the best in the biz!! We're lucky to have him on our team.
  18. I'ts amazing how much a good super knows, it's a lot more than just cutting grass folks. Yet. there are an endless number of experts at our course that think they know better and I often here them in the grill telling other members of their group, "he should be doing XYZ. If he did ABC, it would make the conditions better. I don't know why he does....DE,F, it makes no sense to me" Yeah, bunch of experts they are....ha That's one of the reasons we went to walking only while we were still open, mainly to avoid common touch points, but in addition to avoid having 3 or 4 carts out on every hole.
  19. Just a little tease, that the results were in.
  20. Mostly too low of launch. It might have missed a bit more right than left, generally it was pretty straight, just not near high enough.
  21. You may believe this or not. But history has shown traffic on the MGS site is much higher on weekdays vs weekends, and dips during the week when it's Government Holiday. See the trend here? In short, most people are more active on MGS---and other SM sites---when at work than when home. So I'm sure with the large number of people who are not in offices but working or quarantined at home had something to do with it. Along with I'm sure the HQ staff has upgraded or taken steps to prevent overloads like we've seen in the past. I'm not surprised at all based on my personal experience. I had the SIM MAX and it just flat out didn't work for me. Switched to the SIM MAX-D and went up a whole degree in loft and it was much better. It truly is a driver I would recommned getting fit for versus going off specs from a previous fitting, that simply won't work in this case, IMO.
  22. Same in DC for the Cherry Blossom trees. People just don't get it, must be the same people who don't read the Forum Testing instructions
  23. Well some early results I've seen with TM MAX-D seem to correlate with the results. Hopefully we get a swing speed breakdown in a few weeks like we did last year.
  24. I have the SX500 and unless I'm missing something it's manually rechargeable, not replaceable batteries. I don't think it's waterproof, but I would generally always have mine ina cart or in my golf bag.
