currently i have x stiff kbs tour 130 g. I've had a couple of dozen lessons and rarely has anyone talked about me adding loft at impact of being a problem. I've been fit a half a dozen times, i was just curious of other peoples objective opinions regarding launch of the irons heads. Yesterday I went and was told by a top 100 fitter, titlest t100, t150, etc launches higher than the japanese irons (srixon, muzino, etc.). My fitting preference this time was to narrow to a particular brand and then go get fit to be able to not just hit a 7 iron which most of the fitters (even the top fitters) do (sorry if I sound snarky I do appreciate the feedback).

what golf iron heads tend to launch it lower? I'm not a great golfer (10 handicap) but I launch it very high with high spin and looking to get some new irons. I've done the mizuno shaft thing (92 mp at 53 years old) and it recomended 130 g x stiff shafts but looking at some heads I should be focusing on. I read pure blades as an option, but that isn't an option for me. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I live in Richmond, VA but travel up to DC area on a regular basis. Could anyone recommend a club fitter in the DC area? I prefer a grass range but understand that is tougher to find. Thanks in advance.
