Hey guys! Been kind of lurking around in the forums here for a couple of months, figured it was about time to come out and introduce myself. I'm a 24 year old from ct, currently working as an Emt and taking pre-requisite classes to go back to school to become a physician assistant! I graduated from Ithaca college with a bs in exercise science. All my life I've been a huge lacrosse player but I'm honestly seeing lacrosse getting replaced by golf right now! I've been playing golf off and on for about 10-12 years but really caught the bug for it in the last couple of months. I honestly couldn't tell you what my handicap is but it's up there. Haven't broken 90 on 18 or 40 thru 9 but I'm trying to do that this summer!
What's really got me interested in golf was a) the club making aspect and numbers game (swing speed, spin, aoa, etc etc ) that so many people play and how essentially everyone has their own unique swing but still somehow makes it work. Also you can't beat going out to the course with your friends and just hanging out for a couple of hours.
I mostly play by myself because of my schedule with school and work (40ish hours in 3 days plus weekends and all the ot I want)
Anyways if anyone has any good tips on beginning to make clubs, i.e. Does and donts, I'd love some help. I currently have a couple of clubs that I've bought off the bay that I'm trying to put together so I figured here'd be a good place to at least start!
Thanks for looking!
